General Requirements:
- Must be able to understand and converse in English (verbal and written)
- Familiar with local codes and standards and local authority requirements (e.g. ANDAL, etc)
- Must have experience working with Windows based systems
- Fully conversant with applicable design and engineering standard, for example, ASME, BS, DIN etc.
- Communication skills – verbal, written – Is able to communicate effectively and professionally in a range of situations and using sensitivity with peers and customers as required.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Specific Requirements:
Senior Instrument Engineer
• 8+ years of Instrumentation & Control Engineering experience with medium to large projects, preferred for engineering of Coal Fired Power Plant Projects
• Must have at least a degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering from recognized university
• Must have a good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the instrument and control system.
• Must have specific knowledge and experience of power plants, preferred to have experience on coal-fired power plants.
• Experience in reviewing of contractor submission documents and design review.
• Must be able to write and converse well in English
• A person of integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honors their commitments.
• Able to identify issues, problems and opportunities; make timely decisions; develop appropriate solutions; and ask for assistance if required
• A sound knowledge of applicable Local & International design and engineering standards, for example, ISA, ASME, NFPA, etc.; Interface requirements of Indonesia Authorities for I&C (e.g. interface to PLN’s SCADA, CEMS, etc).
Boiler Engineer
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant working experience with Boilers for large Coal Fired Power Plant Projects.
• Must have at least a degree in Mechanical Engineering from recognized university
• Must have specific knowledge and experience of pulverized or circulating fluidized bed coal-fired power plant
BOP Engineer
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with large coal-fired power plant working on Balance of Plant Systems.
• Must have at least a degree in Mechanical Engineering from recognized university
• Must have specific knowledge and experience of FGD, Coal Ship Unloader, Coal Handling System, Ash Handling System, Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants.
Civil Engineer
• 8+ years of Civil Engineering experience with large Coal Fired Power Plant Projects
• Must have a least a degree in Civil Engineering from recognized university
• Team player with excellent personality and able to take orders from superiors including but not limited to Civil Lead, Engineering Manager, Construction Manager and Project Manager.
Electrical Engineer
• 5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience with large Coal Fired Power Plant Projects
• Must have at least a degree in Electrical Engineering from recognized university
• Must have fundamental knowledge of power plant engineering principles and technologies based on fossil-fired power generation and specifically coal-fired power plant.
• Must have specific knowledge and experience of coal-fired power plant.
Turbine Engineer
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with large turbine generation power plant.
• Must have at least a degree in Mechanical Engineering from recognized university
• Must have specific knowledge and experience of turbine generation power plant for its function and application.
• Must be able to understand and converse in English
• Fully conversant with applicable design and engineering standards, for example, ASME, BS, DIN etc.
• Familiar with local codes and standards and local authority requirements (e.g. ANDAL, etc)

• Evaluate technical performance for Contractor, reporting to site superintendent about contractor/ subcontractor behaviour, identifying the elements that can adversely affect the planned discipline achievements, advising site manager about on-going criticalities.
• Verify the Contractors construction physical progress relevant to electrical discipline installation.
