Construction Manager–Brownfields Report to: General Construction Manager (Later to Brownfield PM) Leads and Supervises: 1) Middle Route Area Coordinator 2) BOG Area Coordinator 3) BF_Offsite Coordinator 4) Brownfield Field Area Superintendent 5) Disciplines Supervisors Primary Role and Responsibility: CM BF shall be responsible for all construction activities at site. He will manage the construction works including the planning, coordination, supervision and execution to accomplish the project objectives of safety and quality efficiently and timely The following are the primary role and responsiblities, but not limited to: a) Responsible and accountable for the management and delivery of all construction work in Brownfield area. b) Develops and/or reviews the IWP (Installation Work Packages) for each individual brownfield work pack, including: • Scope of work • Implementation schedule with showing TAR window schedule • Required Material and Construction Equipment • Required resources (by craft) and qualification • Constraints clearance (scafolding, access, etc) c) Reviews procedure/method statement including TRA, L2RA for these following brownfield activities: • Piping Tie-ins work • Electrical Tie-ins work • Instrument Tie-ins work • Excavation works • Lifting works • WAH • Hot works and other activities related to CPY’s Control of works d) Develops/reviews training package requirement for the work in brownfield and ensure all the personnel who will work in brownfield have received the specific related training package. Brownfield training package will cover (as minimum): • Understanding of CPY’s basic ISSOW (Integrated Safe System of Work) process and requirement for CPY’s Operation Team for brownfield activities • Brownfield evacuation procedures • Personnel protection requirement • Brownfield working procedure/process for excavation, hot work, lifting, confined space, isolation, LOTO, etc. e) Coordinates with Area Construction Manager for the utilization of Construction Equipment and Resources. f) Ensure the implementation of all brownfield works are strictly following the approved procedures and full compliance to safety requirement. g) Coordinates with CPY’s Operation Team to ensure minimum interface with ongoing operation activities. h) Ensures all the required material and spares for all tie-ins work to be done in TAR window are complete, segregated and marked by tie-in number. i) Participates in any interface meeting with CPY’s Project Team, CPY’s Operation Team and CPY’s other Contractor(s) related to work at Brownfield (Tie-ins, etc.) j) Provides regular progress reports to the General Construction Manager / BF PM; k) Ensure smooth and safe execution of IWPs l) Provide input to Engineering for constructability issues/ clashes m) Provide scope of work for works to be subcontracted and evaluate the technical part of construction and ensure subcontractors and its resources mobilizations in timely manner Minimum requirement of this position: a) Bachelor of Science in Civil or Piping Engineering or other engineering disciplines with solid experience b) Having experiences as Construction Manager at least 10 years, less years of experiences could be considered for candidate with solid experience in Construction in Indonesia c) Having experiances as Construction Manager working in Brownfield sites. d) Having brownfield construction experience with SIMOPS, operation permitting (ISSOW) and multidiscipline engineering and interfaces. e) Familiar with safety management technique and method of reporting,such as Safety Training Observation Program. f) Having strong leadership and willingness to work at remote site for a fast track project schedule with 12-4 rotation g) Having excellent interpersonal skill h) Having good English for reading, writing and speaking i) Having a team spirit to work together to achieve the goal.
