Corporate Affairs Manager
Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Management or Business
Administration, mm. 15 years of relevant expeflence with 10 years in a
Manageflat role. preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
Key Roles: Reporting to the Talisman Indonesia President &
GM. this position is responsible for developing and implementing
principles and strategies on external stakeholder relationships
including: Government Relations. Public Relations, Corporate
Communications, Community Relations and Community Development Management
Systems. The Corporate Affairs Manager shall work in accordance with a
suite of policies, procedures and guidelines aimed towards sustained
long term growth in line with Talisman’s business objectives, integrity
processes and ethics policy.The ideal candidate will have: A thorough
knowledge of; Indonesian law, BPMIGAS and Oil & Gas related Industry
regulation, a strong leadership capability sad excellent communication
and interpersonal relationship skills.
Legal Counsel
Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Law with a minimum of 8 years
working experience, with legal function exposure to gas sales and
contract administration in the Oil & Gas industry.
Key Roles: Reporting to International Legal Counsel. this
position will provide the necessary legal advice to support execution of
Talismans Indonesia business activities. Responsibilities include
preparation and review of contracts. active oversight of Indonesian and
Industry laws, regulations, jurisprudence arid BP Migas procedures and
Production Sharing Contract provisions. The Legal Counsel shall analyze
contractual and legal disputes or issues. then provide legal solutions.
The Legal Counsel shall also attend Court sessions and represent the
Company In other legal activities, coordinating legal advice with
Talismans Corporate Legal function In Calgary, The ideal candidate will
have: A comprehensive understanding of Indonesian Law. contract
procedures, BP Migas & Oil and Gas related regulations, excellent
analytical, communication and presentation skills.
Business Development Analyst
Requirements:Bachelor Degree in a business or relevant industry
discipline with a minimum of 810 years of experience in a Business
Analyst role, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
Key Roles: Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this
position will focus on the commercial analysis of new opportunities,
participating in conceptual studies and creating economic models. The
Business Development Analyst will also be Involved in external meetings
with regulating authorities, potential partners and sellers. The ideal
candidate will have: Proven capabilities in building and operating
business/economic models, excellent analytical, presentation and
communication skills. The Business Development Analyst shall be
proactive and demonstrate excellent interpersonal abilities.
Sr. JV Accountant
Requirements: A Bachelor Degree in accounting with a minimum of8
years experience in accounting activities within the Oil & Gas
industry, preferably a Registered or Certified Accountant with SAP
exposure.
Key Roles: Reporting to the Sr. Finance Coordinator, this role
wIl perform accounting for both Operated and Non Operated Assets
(Andaman, Corridor, Tangguh, South Mender, UK SES. ONWJ, .108 Jambl
Merang, JOB Ogan Komenng) and shall ensure accounting is conducted in
accordance with PSC and JOA terms. The Senior JV Accountant shall also
ensure JV audits are performed in line with Annual JV audit plans and
findings are communIcated and closed property. The Senior JV Accountant
shall oversee cost management to include reporting, AFE monitoring.
WP&B preparation and re-forecasting estimates. The Ideal candidate
will have An excellent working knowledge of PSC Accounting methods and
practices and shall be proactive and steam player.
Sr. Geologist
Requirements:A Bachelor/Master Degree in Geology with a minimum
10 years experience in an exploration environment including knowledge of
sequence stratigraphy. Prospect generation, reserve valuations and
regional studies.
Key Roles: Reporting to Talismans Exploration Manager, this role
wit involve both operational and interpretation work. The Senior
Geologist will provide support in well operations follow-up (non-op and
operated), pore pressure studies (Drill works Predict and Seismic).
interprelstion (mapping, correlations) and deepwater specific studies
(seabed, heat flow). The Senior Geologist wilt undertake many aspects of
petroleum system analysis including interpretation of geochemical
survey dale, basin modeling, source rock evaluation and well post
mortem. In the fullness of time, The Senior Geologist may be expected to
represent Talismans functional interests in Joint Operating or Joint
Venture businesses. The Ideal candidate will have: An excellent
knowledge of 2D/3D Seismic Interpretation systems and application
especially for seismic interpretation, visualization and earth modeling.
The Senior Geologist will also have a comprehensive understanding of
basic Petrophysics and shall be familiar with geological software. Good
teamwork, good report writing and presentation skills and excellent
interpersonal skills are necessary prerequisites.
Sr. HSE Specialist
Requirements: A Bachelors Degree in a relevant industry
discipline, ideally complimented with a formal HSE qualification (NEBOSH
or similar). The aucpeseful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years
experience in HSE within upstream operating organizations. The
successful candidate will be able to demonstrate success in dealing with
HSE issues commonly found within Indonesia’s Oil and Gas industry. The
need for formal qualification may be partially waived if a candidate can
demonstrate excellent relevant industry experience.
Key Roles : Reporting to the HSE Manager, this role will assist
in gathering dale and preparing various business and regulatory reports.
The Senior HSE specialist shall provide operational assistance,
technical HSE and risk assessment advice to Talismans Operations. HSEMS
roll out, socialization and Implementation and development of Talismans
HSE plan shall be the key focus in the short term. This position shall
be part of a team that shall ensure that Company practices comply with
current Indonesian HSE legislation. good process safety management
practices and international standards.
The Ideal candidate will have: Experience in HSE Studies and Risk
Assessment (HAZID, HAZOP, JSA. SIL and Bow-tie), procedure and report
writing, safety inspections and auditing of ISO standards as well as
Drilling and Operations activities. Good teamwork, excellent
communication and interpersonal skills are necessary prerequisites.
Operations Manager (JOB)
Requirements: A Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline or
other relevant industry discipline, with e minimum of 15 years
experience In production operations, including at least 10 years
experience at a supervisory/management level. The successful candidate
will be able to demonstrate experience in planning and safe
implementation of operations in the upstream oil and gas industry. This
is a wide ranging role requiring a person who has had exposure to the
various technical and administrative aspects of production operations
management. The successful candidate will be required to liaise with
various functions and Industry or government bodies. A thorough
understanding of both the methods and practices employed by the oil and
gas industry within Indonesia is essential.
Key Roles: The Operations Manager (JOB) shall be seconded into
one of Talismans Joint Operated Businesses and shall be functionally
responsible to the General Manager (JOB). The successful candidate shall
also report periodically to the Talisman Indonesia Operations Manager.
This role will involve commercial, production and people development
programs. This role wilt assist the General Manager (JOB) to optimize
production and transmission arrangements, carry out the enhanced oil
recovery programs, and implement systems and procedures to facilitate
operations in the field that comply with industry regulation and
Indonesian laws. The role will also contribute actively to mentoring and
providing strong support to the development of subordinates. Based in
Jakarta, regular visits to the operating site in South Sumatra will be
required.
The Ideal candidate will have: Proven production operations
skills and capabilities, with an appropriate knowledge of sub-surface
disciplines, reservoir engineering, drilling and well services as well
as production facilities and processing. Cultural sensitivity, excellent
written and verbal communication skills, a strong work ethic and a
genuine commitment to both safety and teamwork are all necessary
pre-requisites. The successful candidate shall also play a pivotal role
in HSE. OAQC and Project Engineering matters.
Field Operations Manager (JOB)
Requirements: A Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline or
other relevant industry discipline with a minimum of 12 years experience
in the oil and gas industry, including 5 years of managerial
experience. The successful candidate shall have Operations experience in
Indonesia, leading a multi-discipline learn of national personnel that
operates and maintains a large integrated gas processing facility.
Key Roles: The Field Operations Manager (JOB) shall be seconded
into one of Talismans Joint Operated Businesses and shall be
functionally responsible to the General Manager (JOB). The successful
candidate shall also report periodically to the Talisman Indonesia
Operations Manager. This role will rotate between the South Sumatra
facilities and the Jakarta offices on a scheduled rotation cities of two
weeks in Sumatra, one week in Jakarta and one week on leave. This role
will be a critical position in implementing a safety culture at the
facilities. and ensuring that best Industry practice is employed towards
safe and efficient operations. As the senior person at site, this
position will coordinate with the Jakarta technical teams to maximize
production from the asset. This role will also coordinate the planning,
production, and transporting of gas and liquid products at several
operating facilities that surround the central plant. This role shall
also play a leading role at site in future plant expansion plans, which
are already at the planning stage.
The ideal candidate will have: First class understanding of
petroleum Industry methods and practices Including gas. LPG and
condensate conditioning operations. The successful candidate shall have
the ability to manage staff In a multi-national, multi-cultural
environment and shall have a proven record of experience in the
Indonesian oil and gas industry. Cultural sensitivity, excellent written
