Finance Support
(Position based in Samarinda)
Job Function:
To control, implement the financial activities including the budget preparation and reporting. This is a field based local position.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and monitor the financial control system such as: budget, cost coding, estimate cash out and in flow (initial cash flow, weekly cash flow, monthly cash flow) and forecast cost to complete.
• Prepare monthly cost estimation, monthly actual expenditure and cash flow project , daily petty cash report, etc.
• Check invoice (supporting document, VAT slip, etc); including withholding tax calculation before send to MH Jakarta Office.
• Analyze the cost code status report to have an early warning about the financial status of the operations site activities.
• Preparation of journal entries and upload to general Ledger and sub-account ledgers (tba).
• Do day to day accounting activities such as payable, receivable, monitoring the inventory, monitoring the fixed and current assets.
• Give advice to the Senior Accountant relating to the financial effect of any expense requisitions.
• Participate in adhoc project as assign.
Requirements:
• D3 or S1 in accounting or finance from a reputable university
• 3 years experience as finance controller, preferably from oil and gas sector.
• Meticulous, able to work independently and a good team player
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility in travelling
