POSITION SUMMARY

As a member of the Drilling team, Drilling Engineer shall be responsible for:

1. Performing a variety of technically complex activities in petroleum drilling operations

• Responsible for a variety of drilling engineering assignments requiring general familiarity with a broad field of drilling engineering.
• Including but not limited to direct involvement in daily Drilling activities, providing technical guidance, and providing input to operations as appropriate.
› Responsible for Drilling input to new and existing development scopes.

• Responsible for detailed well design, including compliance with P&P and Well Examination.

› Participate in management and development of the GDC department through involvement in improvement of processes, procedures and systems.

2. Coordinating drilling budget and monitoring

› Responsible for Drilling input to contract strategies. Subsequently responsible for scopes of work, ITT preparation and tender evaluation (technical) with input to commercial evaluation and recommendation to award for all Drilling related contracts.
› Preparation and maintenance of well budgets, schedules, AFE and daily costing in line with operations and planning schedule.
› Provide support (costs, concepts, timings) for Business Development with regard to Acquisitions and Disposals.

3. Managing respective people and organization

› Drilling focal point with Subsurface, Operations, Exploitation, & Development for engineering aspects of their assigned project.› Act as Drilling focal point for various contracts and ensure contractual compliance and performance are maintained by vendors, suppliers and service providers.
› Liaise with vendors, suppliers and service providers as necessary.
› Act in support of Sr. Drilling Engineer as coach and mentor for Junior Engineers.

4. Managing EHS function in the respective department

› Ensures that the work location is in a safe and environmentally friendly manner in line with Hess standard s and target s.
› Emergency response duties as required.
› Ensure operations are carried out with due regard to Safety of Personnel and plant along side respect for the Environment.

5. Managing relevant administration and report

› Managing relevant reporting and administration work based on the needs of the respective organization (including data recording, correspondence, etc. - based on the function of this position).
› Ensuring the confidentiality of the company s documentation.
› Responsible of all Drilling documentation, including but not limited to BOD, AFE, Programmes, EOWR, PDP deliverables and legislative appropriate to Indonesia.

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:
› Minimum BS Degree in Engineering. Petroleum Engineering is preferable.
› A minimum of 5 years experience in a broad range of drilling activities incl. drilling operations, well planning and well design

Basic Skill:

RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES:

• Onsite representative for all environmental, regulatory and permitting issues.

• Ensure that all civil/structural related activities are performed safely and in compliance with project specifications, Company standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Work closely with PT, PJIT, DJ-MIGAS, EPC Contractor and subcontractors to develop DJMIGAS and PJIT inspection, witness and hold points on Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Ensure that all equipment and facilities requiring SKPP, SKKP or SKPI are certified by DJMIGAS.
• Obtain all required technical data to be reviewed by PJIT from EPC and PT and ensure that PJIT receive the data on timely manner.
• Develop DJ-MIGAS inspection schedule and arrange DJ-MIGAS and BPMIGAS (if required) visits for all DJ-MIGAS and PJIT inspection, witness and hold points.
• Prepare invitation letter to DJ-MIGAS and BPMIGAS to witness FAT, hydro test, SAT, commissioning/start-up, site inspection, etc.
• Accompany DJ-MIGAS, BPMIGAS and PJIT to witness FAT, hydro test, SAT, startup/ commissioning and other inspections.
• Ensure Berita Acara/Inspection Report is prepared for each inspection/visit and all findings are recorded and reported.
• Develop and manage Berita Acara/Inspection Report spreadsheet and expedite the closure of findings.
• Review databook for SKPP, SKKP, and SPKI with PT and PJIT for timely submission to DJMIGAS.

3. Work with MCL PMT and Functional groups to support development of documents such as oil spill response plan and waste management plan.
4. Interface with project engineering and construction to ensure environmental and regulatory compliance.
5. Coordinate development and submittal of EMCAPS regulatory compliance and environmental management plans for project facilities.
6. Work with consultants, as necessary, to prepare and submit requisite environmental, regulatory and socioeconomic impact assessments.
7. Interface and coordinate activities with MCL functional groups, as appropriate, to develop and implement appropriate plans for interfacing with Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO s) and Government agencies.
8. Review and advise PMT about EPC contractor s environmental, regulatory and socio economic documents and deliverables, as prescribed in project Coordination Procedure.
9. Prepare project internal environmental, regulatory and socio economic stewardship reports, as well as external reports required to satisfy Government or external financial institution conditions/requests.
10. Assist project team, as appropriate, on special tasks and studies related to overall Environmental and Regulatory permitting requirements, and community affairs at shore tie-in and offshore work sites.

RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES:

• Oversee inspection of structural activities conducted at contractors and sub-contractors facilities.

10. AMDAL Monitoring Reporting Advisor (CP-A20)

RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES:

Assist the Environmental Coordinator in establishing and developing the project s Environmental and Socio Economic Management Manual (ESMM), Environmental Management Plan (EMP), and Environmental Business Plan (EBP).
Assist the Environmental Coordinator planning additional environmental studies and assessments needed to establish the Environmental and Socioeconomic Management System.
Monitor the implementation of methods and procedures aimed at implementing the approved AMDAL and its associated RKL and RPL documents in order to ensure that company policies and regulatory requirements/obligations are complied with.
Devise an AMDAL/RKL/RPL monitoring report format and schedule and communicate these to the PMT and other appropriate project-associated parties.

Provide advice regarding environmental programs/initiatives or community events conducted by the government, NGOs, and other institutions in the project area.
Participate in the preparation of the AMDAL and UKL/UPL studies related to environmental topics.
Prepare environmental compliance status and permit/license/approval stewardship documents for review.
Assist in the implementation and management of OIMS processes and procedures concerning environmental requirements.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCES:

To provide technical evaluation and design review for Package Equipment in the Topside development.

1. Package Equipment Design
• Review Contractor s design and performance analysis for package equipment and make recommendations to Sr. Package Engineer.
• Endure floating life cycle considerations are taken into account.
• Co-ordinate footprints with structural engineering.
• Ensure that ancillary components are included in equipment design.
• Conduct material Compatibility assessment for rotating equipments with Material Specialist.
• Inform main decisions and changes in design of Package Equipment to Sr. Package Equipment Engineer.
2. Technical Assurance and Integrity
• Verify the technical integrity of critical package equipment design aspect, considering floating lifecycle issues.
• Review design calculation as required.
• Conduct performance and reliability assessment (i.e. shaft stress analysis) for proposed package equipments; identify means to improve performance and reliability (i.e. bearing type) if possible.
• Work with the Pre-Production Operation & Maintenance Group in the development of operation and maintenance philosophies, operating procedures and integrity management plans for package equipments.
3. Planning, Cost and Risk Management
• Request and review that detail cost estimation and schedule provided by Contractor.
• Identify long-lead items and ensure that purchase orders for these items are scheduled in due time to minimize delays.
• Monitor progress of Contractor work; inform possible delays and recommend appropriate solutions to Senior Package Equipment Engineer.
• Provide input to FLNG risk assessment and mitigation measures to Senior Static.

• Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise information exchange among relative section.
