We are currently taking applicants for the following position:

DEPUTY PROJECT MANAGER

Proactively support the Project Manager to plan, direct and control the Project to ensure all Project related activities are conducted SAFELY, to the required Petrosea standards, on time and ahead of budget, whilst fostering an atmosphere of Zero Incidents and Continuous Improvement to promote the ongoing success of Petrosea.
Requirements:
1. Possess the potential to develop into a PTP Mine Project Manager
2. Min. Bachelor degree in mining or sufficient experience to provide the necessary expertise
3. Holder of POM (minimum) / POU (preferred)
4. Min. ten years previous experience in supervising mining operations (production) and a demonstrable understanding of sound mining practices and mining equipment.
5. Min. five years in managerial position on a mining project
6. Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, written and verbal
7. Good computer skills, familiar with mining and mine planning software
8. Good communication and strong leadership skills
9. Ability to work in a Team environment under pressure
10. Willing to be placed in any company location. Able to work in a remote location on Roster arrangements
11. Ability to understand and protect PTP’s commercial interests
12. Good understanding of Mine infrastructure requirements
13. Willing to be placed in any Company location and to work flexible hours to meet Project requirement.

Responsibilities:
1) Direct responsibility for Engineering and Production operations on the Project. DPM shall direct and control all Engineering and Production functions on Site to optimise production, utilisation and cost for all mining operations on Site, without sacrificing safety or standards of work.
2) Review and coordinate all mine planning activities with Client personnel
3) Foster a culture of Zero Incidents and Continuous Improvements. DPM is responsible for safety within the mining areas of the Project.
4) Assume responsibilities and authorities of the PM during PM absence.
5) Proactively support the Project Manager in maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs and conformance to official standards and requirements.
6) In coordination with the PM, allocate, manage and optimise resources (including personnel) to maximise returns and ensure continuity of operations.
7) Plan and control water management activities to ensure minimal interuptions to mining.
8) Support PM with the mobilisation and establishment of the Project, including any fleet and infrastructure expansion that may be required during the Project (including the buildup of personnel in accordance with approved organisation charts).
9) Actively support the PM in the control and management of the Workforce, including training and maximisation of local employment.
10) The DPM should assist in the preparation and review of Inductions, Training material, Standard Operating Procedures and similar material to maximise the effectiveness of the Workforce.
11) The DPM should also participate in the presentation of materials and the assessment of employees.
12) Preparation and implementation of Project Budgets and Forecasts in conjunction with the PM.
13) Coordinate subcontract activities to ensure that they will support the achievement of Project aims and the support of Project objectives.
14) Manage the preparation of Claims, Variations, Monthly Reports and documentation related to disputes with Client / Suppliers. Support PM as required in any negotiations with Client / Suppliers.
15) Manage all statutory permits and approvals as required to proceed with the Project and ensure all permits and formalities are complete and valid.
16) Support the PM in the implementation and recording of Strategic Initiatives
17) Assist PM to establish, maintain and manage all stakeholders interests to ensure harmonious and cooperative relationships in industrial relations and community relations in all aspects of the project.
18) Support the PM in any other way deemed beneficial to the Project or the ongoing success of PTP. The PM may assign additional responsibilities within the limits of Company Policy.
19) Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.

DRILL & BLAST ENGINEER
(Assignment: Site)

Develop drill and blast designs, implement designs in conjunction with blasting sub-contractor and monitor drill and blast results, acknowledging inefficiencies and recommending changes accordingly to ensure high quality, cost effective and safe blasting occur.
Requirements:
1. Min Bachelor degree in Mining or Geologist with Class II Blaster Certificate
2. Min. 2 years previous experiences in drilling & blasting engineering
3. Good communication skills in English and Indonesian, written & verbal
4. Understanding applications of drill blast design and shot plus software
5. Familiar with designing drill and blast, leading the team and explosives handling

Responsibilities:
1) Develop, recommend and implement suitable strategies to provide optimal blasting solutions and improve blasting performance to operations.
2) Ensure the drilling plan is provided in a timely manner and the drill is working productively in the most cost effective and safe manner.
3) Coordinate blasting activities, lead and control blasting crew to ensure agreed mine plan is being followed.
4) Analyze and communicate drilling and blasting issues to short term engineer and mining operation in order to provide technical support to site based personnel.

MINING ENGINEER (CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT)

Monitor, control and analyse operation data, processes, procedures and performance, using established continuous improvement techniques in order to identify and prioritize opportunity in mining project.
Requirements:
1. Min. 2 years working experience in an open-cut mining operations
2. Min. Bachelor Degree in Mining, Civil, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
3. Strong computer skills, preference is competent using statistical software application such as MINITAB
4. Strong on analytical (multi variance data) skills.
5.Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:
1. Analysis of operational data (such as VHMS, PLM, VIMS, MIC, OpsDB, FMS) to determine performance or cost issues and work toward solution which can be delivered to the project.
2. Work in a team and set up benchmarking criteria by which improvements can be measured.
3. Develop and follow a specific method/discipline to measure the gap between current process capability with the project s goals.

MINING ESTIMATOR
(Placement : Jakarta)
Prepare price estimate based on “Current Cost” including financial model (IRR and cashflow) and sensitivity analysis. Monitor, review, and analyse factors that might impact mining business line which cover detailed financial analysis relating to mining tenders, projects, and capital purchases, the market environment, competitor analysis and operational performance in order to provide business line manager with accurate /current and concise analysis on any issue that could impact mining strategic business plan.
Requirements:
• Excellent English skills – spoken, written and presentation.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff in the organisation.
• Must be proficient in excel, power point and report preparation and presentation.
• Ability to develop clear, concise and accurate report summaries.
• Excellent business analysis skills, strong financial modelling skills.

Responsibilities:
1. Review and analyse project operational and financial variances to tender in order to constantly seeking business improvement initiatives.
2. Provide support to mining General Managers in implementing strategic business improvement initiatives to ensure that business initiative are well implemented.
3. Provide support and assistance in preparing forecast as required to ensure forecast are reasonable, consistent with the mining activity and accurate.
4. Support the tender team to identify, evaluate and rank risks as well as develop a strategy to manage risks in order to minimize risk possibility.
5. Maximize utilisation of current labour, staff and material prices to ensure estimates are based on “Current cost”.
6. Attend sites visits and prepare detailed report of local conditions, available facilities & technical resources to attain current material for estimating process.
7. Support the Senior Estimator with the preparation of commercial and technical clarifications, client pricing and technical tender schedules in order to enhance the efficiency of the preparation.

MINING FOREMAN
(Assignment: Kalimantan)

Provide first level of supervision over a several mining sections of the mining production resources at the mine project to achieve the production targets and objectives of the project in accordance with the project parameters and guidelines.
Requirements:
1. Min. High School graduate.
2. Min 3 years as Mining Operator Lead Hand.
3. Good command in English.
4. May be required to work flexible hours to meet Project requirements

Responsibilities:
1) Responsible to implement short term detailed mine execution plans at the position level using the BMP process and to provide the necessary production parameters needed by BMP on a continuous feedback basis to enable short term control to achieve the long term mine plan.
2) Supervise the performance of operators, technicians. Lead hands and unskilled personnel in the Mining operations in the shift by shift BMP process using short term variance.
3) Monitor and control mining production on an hourly basis including loading / unloading point to ensure smooth day to day operations.
4) Monitor and control survey personnel in conducting survey activities.
5) Responsible to mine execution plans and necessary production and safety target, understand the daily, weekly and monthly plans and targets, make sure clear understanding from subordinates.
6) Communicate with workshop in regards to repairing downed equipment and assistance in a timely manner to ensure scheduled PM equipment is given to Maintenance team on time.
7) Ensure strong disciplinary procedures are enforced and followed consistently, assist to manage the crew manpower and make sure the right people are in the right places doing the right things.
8) Monitor dewatering activities, Pit Services and day works, these are 3 primary focus areas in and outside of the Pit, ensure these are monitored at all times.
9) Minimise exposure to personnel and the environment by identifying hazards and risks during the planning phase of the work packages and Implement all safety procedures, rules and regulations and statutory regulations in accordance with the Safety Management Plan

1) Minimise exposure to personnel and the environment by identifying hazards and risks during the operation phase of the work packages and implement all safety procedures, rules and regulations and statutory regulations in accordance with the Safety Management Plan
2) Responsible to implement short term detailed mine execution plans at the position level using the BMP process and to provide the necessary production parameters needed by BMP on a continuous feedback basis to enable short term control to achieve the long term mine plan.
3) Supervise the performance of mining foremen, operators, technicians and unskilled personnel in the Mining operations in the shift by shift BMP process using short term variance.
4) Identify the development and training needs of the mining foremen, operators, technicians and unskilled personnel in the mining operations for the benefit of the Project Manager
5) Co-ordinate and supervise Mining production and other mining team meetings
6) Assist Mining Superintendent in liaise and co-ordinate with maintenance department to optimize and maximize mining equipment availability and utilization
7) Control production on an hour by hour basis and prepare timely and accurate report on project progress as required by the project.

PLANNING ANALYST

To assist the financial planning and budgeting manager in preparing the management report, financial analysis, coordination of budgeting compilation and presentation, and to assist other daily and ad hoc activities to identify risks and opportunities and contribute to the achievement of the organization’s short and long-term financial goals.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting
• Preferably have working experiences as financial analyst and strong background in finance, accounting or economics
