Logistic Engineer

General Precise for all Full Field Development Positions
The Abadi field is a large gas discovery located some 350 km east of Timor Island in Indonesian waters and 350 km north of Darwin, Australia. It lies adjacent to the northern international boundary with Australia, in 400–800 m water depth. The Masela Production Sharing Contract (PSC) was awarded to INPEX Masela as Operator with 100% interest in November 1998. The discovery well, Abadi-1, was drilled and completed in late 2000. INPEX has been planning for the development of the field through application of a 2.5mmtpa Floating LNG installation for a Stage 1.

The project is starting the FEED (Define) Phase of the Stage 1 FLNG Development, whereby the SURF FEED will be performed by a single Contractor and the FLNG FEED will be a design competition between two Consortia with the successful FEED Consortia proceeding through to EPC of the FLNG facility.
The Full Field Development (FFD) is to enter into Concept Select Phase during 2012 which will entail formation of a Full Field Development Team and implementation of Offshore/Onshore Surveys and Concept Select Consultancy Contracts for screening of multiple development options, including large scale FLNG
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide logistics engineering expertise and administrative support for the project planning processes of the Masela Asset Full Field development activities
2. Provide engineering expertise and participate in the processes of planning all Logistics/Early Construction Studies
3. Ensure that the engineering/design of all facilities is safe to construct.
4. Continuously review, manage, monitor and control LNG Implementation plans to ensure a consistent and cost effective approach.
5. Provide proper input into all Logistics related deliverables.
6. Provide proper input into the HSE related studies.
7. Provide expertise and assistance to Senior Cost Engineer in the cost planning
8. Providing support to Senior Cost Engineer in planning, monitoring and controlling annual budget
