IN COUNTRY MANAGER INDONESIA
Role Overview
The In-Country Manager in Indonesia will actively promote the AMEC brand to enhance our ability to secure ongoing work.
Role Responsibilities
• Assist in developing business opportunities and building our local capability and team
• Ensure effective management and successful execution of our studies and projects
• Manage and assist with addressing all practical, administrative and operational matters for in-country project requirements
• Management and liaison of AMEC’s third party in-country contractors
Role Requirements
• Tertiary qualifications with a minimum of more than 10 years experience in mining, minerals processing and engineering
• Excellent contacts within industry
• Good communication skills and cultural sensitivity
• Language skills (fluent in both local language and English)
• Previously worked for Western company, if not directly employed by Western company, at least a significant experience in working with Western companies in some other capacity
• Preferably an experienced engineer and/or former senior executive/manager in mining, minerals processing and engineering industry with broad commercial knowledge of the industry sector and demonstrated experience and knowledge in the delivery of multi-discipline studies and projects
