We are currently taking applicants for the following position for project expansion :
1. PROJECT MANAGER (EPM Dept.– Jakarta & Site Based)
Plan, direct and control a project from the date of award to the issue
of a practical completion certificate and ideally be involved until end
of the maintenance period to ensure a project is running well, completed
on time and to budget in accordance with all the company standard
procedures and to the total satisfaction of the clients..
Requirement: • Min. Bachelor Degree, preferably in Civil Engineering • Min. 12 years previous experiences in construction and engineering •
Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and construction management
principles and practices and the associated flow of design and
construction project management • Ability to recognize potential claims and manage project contract activities to avoid costly claims and litigation • Ability to supervise and evaluate the work of subordinates • Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written •
Ability to develop and maintain effective monitoring and control
systems and carry them to the intended conclusions to meet Agency goals
for the program. • Willing to work extended hours to meet the deadline
Responsibilities: • Plan and control the flow of work for a
construction project, including estimating time, supplies and personnel
required for completing the project to ensure that projects are being
carried out according to established plan • Direct, control and
execute the Project by conducting a kick off meeting with the Project
Team, assign duties and responsibilities as detailed in the functional
matrix in order to ensure project initial are well manage. •
Direct, review and analyse client specifications and documents to ensure
the requirements defined are incorporated into the works and the
responsibilities allocated under the project quality system are
understood and implemented. • Prepare, control and implement
project budets, construction schedules, project reporting, progress
assessment and project execution plan, take personal responsibility and
accountability for cash flow, receivables and return on capital of the
project to ensure budget are meet with operational needs and
requirements.. • Interface and coordinate subcontract activities to
ensure that they will support the achievement of project aims and the
support of company construction objectives. • Direct, monitor and
utilize companys equipment efficiently, maintain schedule compliance on
planned maintenance and reduce cost as appropriate in order to optimize
asset utilization. • Direct, submit and negotiate claims to
settlement as required to ensure that progress claims are submitted and
paid in a timely manner. • Plan, analyse and establish detailed cost
forecasts, manage variations in order to close out to maximise returns
in a timely manner. • Direct, control and manage all statutory
permits and approvals as required to proceed with the contract to ensure
all permits and formalities are complete and valid. • Establish to
maintain and manage all stakeholders interests to ensure harmonious and
cooperative relationships in industrial relations, community relations
and staff welfare in all aspects of the project. • Maintain and
implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to
ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard
and requirements.
2. CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (EPM Dept.– Site Based)
Direct, monitor and control the construction activities of a project in
order to ensure that it is completed on time and to the total
satisfaction of the client whilst achieving tender profit margins and
meeting the safety and quality expectations of the company.
Requirements: • Min. 10 years previous experiences in construction area • Computer literate, including knowledge of computerized architectural data bases and/or CAD drawing systems. • Organizational, supervisory and negotiating skills. • Analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills. • Ability to maintain accurate and detail records. • Willing to Work extended hours to ensure project completion on time.
Responsibilities: • Plan and monitor the works through a
detailed level III programme and accurately record actual progress
against the critical path activities to ensure that programme and
reported progress position are consistently accurate. • Direct,
control and monitor the implementation of management strategy in the
construction activities in order to optimises companys position on the
project within the terms of the contract. • Control, monitor and
liaise with the financial management of the project to ensure targeted
profitability is achieved and potential for profitability is maximised.
• Lead, manage and coordinate Construction Engineers and
Superintendents in control of all labour and plant resources in order to
achieve the construction schedule and the project safety and quality
requirements on the site. • Develop and maintain relationship with the client to ensure that the project is undertaken in a cooperative manner.
• Coordinate and liaise with Project Manager in representing the
company in all meetings and matters pertaining to the contract with
respect to the client and any third party to ensure all matters
discussed are meet the best solution. • Develop, support and liaise
with Project Control team with the project programming, weekly progress
assessment and reporting function to ensure all report and assessment
are accurate in timely manner • Maintain and implementing HSE
programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the
effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and
requirements.
3. EARTHWORK SUPERINTENDENT (EPM Dept.– Site Based)
Monitor and control Earthworks resources (people and equipment) in field
operation in term of support construction manager to ensure production
is achieved in accordance with project parameters, project schedule,
budget, in compliance with companys project safety and environmental
policy.
Requirement: • Min. Senior High School and 10 years experiences as Electrical & Instrument Supervisor • Good understanding & implementation of earthwoks methods • Creative thinking and ability to manage the work systems • Good leadership
Responsibilities: • Monitor, control and supervise labor in a
day to day basis, direct subcontract, and all non-labor resources in
order to ensure project completed on schedule, conform with the standard
of quality specified. • Provide leadership and direction to all
Earthworks operations team including monitor their performance in order
to maintain and enhance team performance. • Monitor and control the
implementation of Earthworks plan and manage that all necessary
resources are available at site in order to meet the construction
schedule through regular construction meetings. • Understanding the
basics of the project budget, monitor and control the Earthworks budget
to ensure that costs do not exceed budget. • Initiates, develops
and improve the implementation of construction methodology and equipment
utilization to improve efficiency. • Review client specifications and drawings to ensure the requirements defined are incorporated into the work.
• Support and assist the Project Safety Superintendent in actively
promoting a safety culture and awareness in order to enhance safety
awareness among personnel and prevent LTI. • Discuss pertinent
topics at daily pre-start meetings and weekly toolbox meetings in order
to Provide a safe and healthy work environment. • Provide
Construction Manager and Project Manager with construction schedules,
cost forecasts and progress statistics in order to updated current
situation.
4. PROJECT ENGINEER (EPM Dept.– Site Based)
Control and monitor the technical execution of a Project (or section of a
Project) including the liaison and control between
Engineering/Procurement/Construction to ensure that all materials and
services that are purchased, fabricated, and constructed are delivered
on time and in strict accordance with the approved project
specifications and accepted industry codes, as well as providing
specific solutions to constructability or interface (clash) issues
during the construction phase.
Requirements: • Min. Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering. • Min. 5 years previous experiences as Project Engineer.
• Proven track record of performing a Senior Project Engineers role in
projects in the Mineral Sector that also encompasses a multi-cultural
workforce with the use of International Subcontractors. • Willing to work extended hours to meet with Project deadlines. • Required to work onsite in extreme remote areas with limited facilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction
management principles and practices. Must possess an in depth knowledge
of the Engineering and Design process as well as extensive experience in
construction methods. • Requires multitasking capabilities (project engineering, scheduling, budgeting, etc.) • Ability to supervise and evaluate the work of subordinates.
• Maximise Project margins by ensuring appropriate Technical
Specifications and Codes are adopted and followed by all Vendors and
Fabricators to ensure the design life integrity is achieved. • Minimise re-work by being involved in constructability reviews. • Provide assistance to startup and commissioning team.
Responsibilities: • Be fully conversant with the contents of
the Project Safety Management Plans and the Company policies on safety.
Ensure that Safety topics are discussed with all
Vendors/Subcontractors/Fabricators prior to award and be vigilant in
enforcing the agreed standards. Conduct inspections on statutory, fire
and rescue equipment to ensure completeness and readiness for use. •
Be fully conversant with all Project Management Plans and all Company
procedures. Enforce the use of the procedures and immediately identify
any non compliances with the Project Manager. • Ensure all technical specifications and industry codes are strictly enforced by all Vendors and subcontractors.
• Manage and efficiently close out all Technical Queries that are
raised by all partners including Vendors, Subcontractors, and
Construction personnel. Maintain a TQ status report to track all TQs.
• Promote a Teamwork environment to get all members of the Team
providing input to each situation. Take ownership of solutions and
promote a positive reward culture. • Develop a Team to handle all
Project Engineering activities. Prepare Position Descriptions for the
team members and lead them to ensure that all tasks are completed in a
timely manner and with efficiency. • Manage the interface between
Procurement and Engineering to ensure that Technical Bid Evaluations are
prepared on a timely basis. Liaise with Vendors (via consultation with
the Procurement Manager) as necessary to ensure that all technical
aspects are dealt with prior to the award of work to Vendors and
subcontractors. Attend the Kick-off meeting for all major orders. •
Monitor the Project schedule and the schedule of Vendors/Fabricators
and advise the Project Manager when issues are evident or likely to be
reported incorrectly. • Liaise closely with the Construction Manager and be involved with all constructability reviews during Project start-up.
• Liaise with the Quality Manager to ensure all Vendors are adhering to
the approved Project specifications and codes. Raise issues as they
arise and assist with the close-out of NCRs. • Be commercially
aware. Review the scope of work documents for all subcontracts and
procured items to ensure that variations will be minimized. Liaise with
the Project Services Manager for all issues surrounding the assessment
of Variations by the project partners.

6. CIVIL & STRUCTURE SUPERVISOR (EPM Dept – Site Based)
Execute, monitor and control the construction activities of the project
in order to ensure that it is completed on time and to the total
satisfaction of the client whilst achieving tender profit margins and
meeting the safety and quality expectations of the company.
Requirement: • Willing to Work extended hours to ensure project completion on time. • Min. 5 years previous working experience in constructions project in a supervisory or similar capacity. • Computer literate. including working knowledge of drawings systems • Knowledge of building codes. • Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings and documents. • Ability to maintain accurate and details records • Organizational, and supervisory skills • Analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills
Responsibilities: • Review inspection reports, drawing, and plans. • Design complex structures and reviews the designs of other engineers to assure specified engineering requirements •
Inspects and evaluates location survey data to assure that conditions,
existing structures and underground facilities on the site are fully
disclosed and accounted for in drawings and resulting plans. • Reviews calculations for projects, clearance, drainage requirements, span length, stresses and reinforcement demands • Analyzes data, comparing against specified and computed values, and suggesting changes and improvements where needed. • Provide assistance to budget personnel in preparing cost estimates.
• Investigates casualties or failure of structures. Documents findings
and recommends solutions to problems and/ or procedures to prevent
re-occurance. • Follow and implement HSE programs including
Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the
programs conform to official standard and requirements. • Acts as liaison with clients assuring satisfaction with progress and quality. • Informs higher management of business opportunities and problems which may impact on the companys business • Analyzes assigned tasks to determine estimates of man-hours and material needed for completion. • Provides technical support and technical guidance to associate engineers and personnel. • Recommend type and material for structures.
7. CIVIL FOREMAN (Mining Project – Site Based)
Monitor and coordinate civil daily activities to ensure civil work is
performed in a technically correct and efficient manner, conform with
companys standard and policies.
Requirements: • Min. 5 years experiences in Civil area, especially in infrastructure maintenance (building & workshop) • Good knowledge in heavy machine technology • Understand and ability in using tools, special tools, amd workshop facilities • Preferably experience from non staff ( carpenter, mason )
• Experienced in maintain heavy machine and understand manual shop,
partbook, operation and maintenance manual, and other reference, in orde
to do daily control, inspection dan program schedule overhaul, repair
and overhaul, and also troubleshooting / Diagnose
Responsibilities: • Plan and supervise Civil activities
regarding tools requirement, sparepart, and consumable goods and also
manpower planning in establishment, maintenance, and repairement of
Site. • Responsible in maintain and repair Civil system in Site/Project.
• Check and examine all mechanical location and equipment and
economizing by using test equipment standard and observe its function.
• Conduct formal annual performance review all direct reports,
identifying strengths and weaknesses, training needs and agreeing upon
goals for the future • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and performance counselling as required for all direct reports • Prepare and submitt reporting required by Business Mining Petrosea (BMP) in a timely manner •
Communicate and Monitor safety procedures implementation in work
environment and process in order to maintain safety awareness at all
times and adhere to Petrosea guidelines and regulations in this respect • Review and analyze of failure to plant, monitor degradation and report pending equipment failure for compilation into backlog •
Monitor and maintain Work Order (WO) to ensure Work Order information
is processed in accordance with Business Mining Petrosea (BMP).
