PT Meares Soputan Mining is developing the Toka Tindung Gold Project in North Sulawesi. Applicants are invited for the following position: Metallurgy Manager Duties : The primary role of the Metallurgy Manager will be to manage commissioning, metallurgical test programs for current and future projects and daily metallurgical activities to ensure the doré production as outlined in the production plan in a safe, cost effective and environmentally compliant manner. The role will also be responsible for plant throughput and recovery optimization, the metallurgy departmental budget and laboratory functions. Requirements : • Tertiary Degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering: Ability to interpret metallurgical results. • Minimum 7 Years Experience in Mineral Processing production with significant exposure to gold operations and management experience • Experience working in South East Asia : Previous experience at senior supervisory level. • Membership of the AUSIMM • Good communication skills both written and oral. • Leadership qualities. • Displays Initiative. • Contractor management skills and negotiation skills. • An ability to understand statutory regulations. • An ability to control costs. • An understanding of KPI utilization. • Technically proficient in interpreting test data Only applicants with the above requirements will be considered.
