ENG DRILLING
Job Description and Responsibilities
1. Define well objectives with asset team, write drilling programs, work directional plan with directional company and asset team (including for horizontal wells)
2. Work with service companies to plan and execute the jobs (including for cementing, directional drilling)
3. Provide drilling engineering support to drilling rig during well execution: prespud meetings, discuss upcoming operation with rig, and ensure that wells are executed per the program. Verify accuracy of morning reports in Wellview
4. Prepare end of well reports, identify lessons learned, track service company performance
5. Prepare well AFE’s, track costs and verify invoices
6. Performs drilling engineering studies/projects as required. This may include offsets wells analysis, cementing optimaztion, new well projects, performance optimization
7. Participate in developing standards and recommended procedures for the Drilling division
8. Participate in company’s EHS programs, conduct rig visits

Education and Experience Qualification
1. Engineering degree
2. Minimum 5 years relevant related drilling engineering experience for oil company

HR CONSULTANT
(Manpower & Recruitment)
Provides professional advice and assistance in :
• Preparation of timely and realistic manpower plans and budgets in coordination with various Groups for immediate and future needs; reviewing and improving manpower policy, processes and procedures; and provides inputs for manpower trends in the oil and gas sector for better planning and forecasting.
• Strategic, business and operational matters related to recruitment at local and international candidates; reviewing and improving recruitment policies and procedures in line with current international trends; and developing systems whereby appropriate recruitments are made within short time frames. Ensures better sourcing for the additional skill set requirements for projects such as Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), Central Gas Utilization Project (CGUP), etc.

Main Tasks
A. Manpower
1. Reviews manpower forecasts and requirements received from different groups with justifications of business needs; provides recommendations and integrates long term (5 years manpower plan) with company activities
2. Follows up and provides analysis regarding the implementation of 5 years manpower plans
3. Provides feedback on manpower in terms of variances from plans trends in availability of skills and its impact and corrective actions; trends in manpower composition such as average employee age, nationality percentages, etc
4. Guides on policy, procedure and documentation matters so as to expedite manpower assessment and planning.
5. Assists in maintaining a consistent approach in decisions related to Job titles, transfers, promotions etc. in the organization.
6. Guides so that policies on Kuwatization are met and Manpower related decisions are taken as per regulations
7. Recommends specific manpower studies such as trends in leave, absenteeism, overtime and advises corrective actions
8. Advises on matter related to Organization Charts and in the correct depictions on manpower changes
9. Reviews Manpower reports to Management to ensure accuracy in reporting

B. Recruitment
1. Reviews justifications and requirements for recruitment and clarifies related qualifications, experience etc., in consultation with users and with the Job Evaluation section
2. Helps to identify priorities in recruitment
3. Advises on internal/local/international recruitment and for special skill sets and their availability
4. Reviews & amends policies, processes and procedures (such as for application processing, interviewing, interviewers’ selection, related paperwork, etc). to enable timely appropriate candidate selection
5. Advises and participates in application screening, employment tests and interviews for recruitment of senior posts
6. Assesses suitability of Manpower contractors in terms of their capability and suitability of Manpower contractors in terms of their capability and suitability in meeting recruitment requirements
7. Assists in taking adequate steps for achievement of recruitment targets (e.q. Kuwaitization)
8. Reviews employment contracts for accuracy in meeting Kuwait Labour Laws and other regulations
9. Provides guidance in data bases for recruitments
10. Guides in reducing recruitment time and increasing the recruitment success ratio

Minimum Requirements :
Academic : Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or equivalent Post Graduate Qualifications such as MBA or equivalent preferred
Related Work Experience : At least 15 years HR experience including about 10 years in Manpower Planning and Recruitment functions preferably in Oil and Gas Industry

HR CONSULTANT
(Career Development & Training)
Provides professional advice and assistance in :
• Designing and implementing Career Development (CD) programs for KGOC; proposing policies and procedures and advising modifications/improvements in line with current international trends; supporting search for appropriate internal talent and tailoring development programs for the next generation of leaders
• Designing and implementing strategies and plans for imparting need based Training for KGOC employees; reviewing the Training organized both in house and by other Training Experts in terms of their benefit, relevance, impact, delivery and content and providing recommendations for improvement; and evaluating and selecting appropriate Training Programs and Trainers. Taking up program related to Competency Based Training and Development Systems (CBTDS), Executive Development Plans (EDP), Succession Planning, etc.

Main Tasks :
A. Career Development
1. Assist in finalizing the competency requirements in consultation with related line function so as to plan Career Development activities
2. Develops potential career path for employees and assists in finalization of tailor made programs as per identified competency requirements
3. Participates in the design of individual career development programs for employees nominated to Team leader and above positions
4. Helps ensure a phased implementation of Career Development programs so as to measure : results as each stage, and re-calibrate the same based on feedback
5. Reviews and proposes Career Development policies and work processes in line with KGOC Human Resources policies and procedures
6. Ensure that Career Development programs integrate with the KGOC culture and helps employees to take initiatives in learning new concepts
7. Coordinates with Training and other HR functions to ensure cooperation and implementation of the Career Development Plans
8. Interacts with employees from time to time to prepare them for greater Organizational responsibilities and for improving their skills in handling critical situations
9. Recommends State of the career development methodologies

B. Training
1. Guides in the development of a companywide Training strategy and Implementation plan aligned with current & future requirements
2. Assists in finalization of training needs at all levels for achieving improved organizational performance from employees
3. Helps develop a training calendar with plans and training budget
4. Guides in the development of succession training for employees shortlisted for higher responsibilities
5. Evaluates training service providers and recommends the most suitable ones for inclusion in the approved list
6. Validates and assesses effectiveness of training program in meeting training objectives, and recommends changes where required
7. Reviews and revises policies and work processes in line with KGOC human resource systems
8. Oversees the maintenance and upkeep of training records and databases and recommends improvements, where required
9. Recommends better training practices, methodologies and system for greater effectiveness and benefits, in keeping with International practices

Main Tasks:
1. Reviews requests received for special studies in terms of the nature, impact, scope and the team which could be assigned. Provides assessment of the need and benefits from such studies and recommends accordingly.
2. Helps to finalize terms of reference and other aspects for taking up such studies
3. Helps to ensure that an appropriate in-house team is formed for association with the study and for liaison
4. Monitor study progress and ensures presentations to management and to stakeholders
5. Reviews study results in terms of the impact and benefits achieved as against the proposed
6. Provides feedback to management on all aspects of the study viz. study approach, experience gained, KGOC team members performance, so as to help utilize the expertise in future
7. Reviews the system for archiving and databases and provides advice for easy retrievals and availability
8. Provides recommendations on systems and procedures to be adopted for special studies

SPECIALIST GEOMODELER
Qualification :
1. Experience in building large geo-cellular models in HO reservoirs for simulation
2. Understands depositional environment and reservoir entrapment-both structural and straticgraphic
3. Experience of 3D Static Modeling including structural framework model, reservoir property modeling, structural mapping and fault modeling. Stochastic modeling of complex hydrocarbon reservoir systems
4. Good understanding of Geostatistics
5. Experience in Reservoir risk uncertainty assessment
6. Ability to perform Reservoir risk analysis based on probabilistic approach
7. Ability to do volumetric estimation or reservoir by integrating various geo-scientific data
8. Ability to evaluate in-place reserve of hydrocarbon by both Probabilistic and Deterministic methods
9. Knowledge of various care analysis methods- RCAL and SCAL and ability to integrate same with log data
10. Experience in attribute analysis and preparing maps for better reservoir understanding
11. Ability to identify reservoir prospects
12. Ability to collaborate with Petrophysicist, Geophysicist and Reservoir Engineer for better reservoir description
13. Experience of Static Model building in bost Clastic and Carbonate reservoir
14. Knowledge of Seismic Interpretation in both time and depth domain.
15. Very good knowledge and Work experience of Petrel Software
16. Minimum 8-10 years experience as Geomodeler
