We are currently taking applicants for the following position:
MINING SUPERVISOR
(Site Based)
Monitor, control, and supervise the mining production resources to
achieve the production targets and objectives of the project in
accordance with the project parameters and guidelines.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree (S1) Mining Engineering/Civil
Engineering with min. 4 years experiences in mining operations. And or
non-bachelor with 6 years experiences in mining operations.
2. Demonstrates good knowledge of Mining equipment capabilities and applications
3. Willing to work at pit mining area with shift roster (day and night).
4. Have strong leadership and communication skills.
5. Excellent team player and good analytical thinking.
6. Good command in English, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities:
1) Minimize exposure to personnel and the
environment by identifying hazards and risks during the operation phase
of the work packages and implement all safety procedures, rules and
regulations and statutory regulations in accordance with the HSE (Health
Safety and Environment) Management Plan.
2) Responsible to
implement short term detailed mine execution plans at the position level
using the BMP process and to provide the necessary production
parameters needed by BMP on a continuous feedback basis to enable short
term control to achieve the long term mine plan.
3) Supervise the
performance of mining foremen, operators, technicians and unskilled
personnel in the Mining operations in the shift by shift BMP process
using short term variance.
4) Monitor and control mining production
on an hourly basis including loading / unloading point to ensure smooth
target achievement (both productivity and utilize unit).
5)
Identify the development and training needs of the mining foremen,
operators, technicians and unskilled personnel in the mining operations.
6) Coordinate and supervise Mining production and other mining team meetings.
7)
Assist Mining Superintendent in liaise and co-ordinate with maintenance
department to optimize and maximize mining equipment availability and
utilization.
8) Provide shift report and conduct effective hand over meeting to ensure continuation of operational target achievement.
SURVEYOR
(Site Based)
Conducts surveys at surface and subsurface mine sites to implement mine
design and obtain data used in planning mining operations including
monitoring recovery, productivity and submission of progress claims
align with company’s policies and rules.
Requirements:
1. Min. Bachelor Degree in Geodetic Engineering
2. Min. 2 years experiences as a Surveyor
3. Hold POP competency
4. Competent in use of Ms. Office
5. Fluent in English, both written and verbal
6. Outstanding leadership skill
7. Able to operate mining survey equipment
8. Willing to be placed in all project
9. May be required to work flexible hours to suit Project requirements
Responsibilities:
1. Collect and develop survey data and
maintain the database to ensure the accordance with the set of standard
procedures and systems.
2. Conduct field surveys in good time and
accurately determine quantities necessary for the submission of monthly
progress claims.
3. Collect acurate daily survey and download data
into the computer to ensure datas are interpreted accurately by the
Survey Draftsman.
4. Coordinate and liase with Engineering &
Constructions Team to ensure that construction designs are being
properly implemented in the field.
5. Use and maintain survey software in order to ensure efficiency in survey activities.
6. Coach and mentor Survey Assistant and provide them with skills in
order to collect the survey pick-ups in the absence of a Surveyor.
7. Contribute to the compilation of tenders by providing Mine planning and design support needed by the Estimator.
MINING PRODUCTION ENGINEER
(Site Based)
Monitor, control, and provide first level of supervision over a several
mining sections of the mining production resources at the mine project
to achieve the production targets and objectives of the project in
accordance with the project parameters and guidelines.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree (S1) or Diploma in Mining Engineering/Civil Engineering.
2. Min. 2 years of experience in Mining Operations/Mining Engineering.
3. Demonstrates good knowledge of Mining equipment capabilities and applications
4. Willing to work at pit mining area with shift roster (day and night).
5. Have strong leadership and communication skills.
6. Excellent team player and good analytical thinking.
7. Good command in English, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities:
1) Identifying hazards and risks during the

safety target, understand the daily, weekly and monthly plans and
targets, make sure clear understanding from subordinates.
7) Ensure
strong disciplinary procedures are enforced and followed consistently,
assist to manage the crew manpower and make sure the right people are in
the right places doing the right things.
8) Coordinate and supervise Mining production and other mining team meetings.
SURVEYOR EPM
(Assignment: Site)
Conduct ocular inspections of proposed plant site to plan the optimum design of proposed construction.
Requirements:
1. Min Diploma Degree in Engineering.
2. Min. 2 years experiences as Surveyor.
3. Able to operate survey equipment.
4. May be required to work flexible hours to suit Project requirements.
5. Good communication skills.
6. Willing to be placed in all project location.
7. “Juru Ukur” certification.
