PT Tanjung Power Indonesia (TPI) is a subsidiary indirectly owned by PT Adaro Energy Tbk and wholly owned subsidiary of PT Adaro Power which owns 65% of TPI and PT EWP Indonesia, a subsidiary directly owned by Korea East-West Power Co Ltd, which owns 35% of TPI. PT Tanjung Power Indonesia will build and operate 2 x 100 MW high technology coal-fired Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Tabalong, South Kalimantan to create maximum value from Indonesia coal. 1. Mechanical Team Leader

Job Responsibilities :
• Responsible for developing and proposing mechanical designs and schedule for the power plant’s project’s mechanical construction as well as to manage the design, construction and maintenance of various mechanical systems and components to ensure it is in accordance with specifications and proper industrial practice.
• Develop technical mechanical standards for the construction of special and power plant mechanical equipment and to provide daily and weekly progress reports to ensure the construction is done according to schedule.
• Develop and propose mechanical designs for the construction of power plant to coordinate the designs with the EPC contractors to ensure construction is done according to specification.
• Review and analyze issues on the designs of mechanical construction and to develop recommendations for follow up actions to ensure the issues are accurately and swiftly addressed.
• Coordinate and provide instructions to EPC contractor regarding the mechanical works which has been agreed and instructed by Mechanical Engineering Manager as well as to monitor contractor performance and progress to ensure construction is done as according to the agreed design and schedule
• Review and recommend cost-effective equipment modification to be supplied by EPC contractors to help improve performance, reliability and safety.
• Monitor contractor performance and progress based on the construction schedule for special facilities and to report as well as to provide recommendations for any issues on the construction to ensure that the project is completed on schedule.
Job Requirements :
• Minimum Bachelor Degree majoring in Mechanical Engineering (Diploma Degree with many years of experience are welcome to apply)
• Minimum 5 years experience in similar position (from Power Plant Construction, Oil & Gas and Heavy Industry)
• Required Competencies : Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, Construction Methods, Design Engineering
• Good communication, leadership and managerial skills
• Good command in English both verbal and written

2. Mechanical Inspector (Rotating Equipment; Piping)

Job Responsibility:
• Responsible for monitoring and coordinating subcontractor performance on the construction of the power plant project’s mechanical works to ensure that all construction is done as according to specification, design, and schedule.
• Monitor subcontractor’s performance on the power plant’s mechanical works to ensure that construction is done as according to design.
• Identify mechanical design issues during the engineering and construction of the power plant and to recommended and coordinate action plans to ensure corrective action is taken.
• Monitor and report subcontractor’s construction progress to the power plant’s mechanical works to ensure engineering and construction are done on schedule and to recommended corrective actions for any mechanical engineering issues.
• Identify potential cost-effective equipment modification that has the potential to

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in mechanical construction (coal fired power plant/ oil & gas)

3. I&C Team Leader

Employment Status : Contract
Work Location : Tanjung - Tabalong, South Kalimantan
Job Responsibility:
• Responsible for developing, monitoring and reviewing electrical designs and schedule for the power plant project’s instrumentation and control to ensure it is in accordance with the company’s electrical technical standards.
• Develop, propose and monitor technical electrical standards for the construction of the power plant’s instrumentation and control
• Monitor contractor performance and progress based on the construction schedule for instrumentation and control, to report as well as to provide recommendations for any issues on the construction to ensure that the project is completed on schedule.
• Coordinate and provide instructions to EPC contractor regarding the construction of the power plant’s instrumentation and control which has been agreed upon by the C&I and E Engineering Manager to ensure construction is done as according to the agreed design.
• Develop and propose electrical, instrumental and control designs for the construction of instrumentation and control as well as to coordinate the designs with the EPC contractors to ensure construction is done accordingly.
• Review and analyze issues on the design of the power plant’s instrumentation and control and to develop recommendations for follow up actions to ensure the issues are accurately and swiftly addressed.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma graduate majoring in Electrical Engineering
• Min. 5 years experience in both control and Instrument engineering as well as electrical engineering (project construction or plant maintenance) preferably in power plant projects
• Good communication and managerial skills.
• Good command in English both oral and written

4. I&C Inspector

Job Responsibilities :
• Responsible for monitoring and coordinating subcontractor performance on the construction of the power plant project’s instrumentation and control to ensure that construction is done as according to specification, design, and schedule.

• Min. 3 years experience in both control and instrument engineering as well as electrical engineering (project construction or plant maintenance) preferably in power plant projects
• Required Competencies : I&C Engineering, Technology Design, Project Management, System Analysis
• Government certification on Electric / I&C Engineering (preferred)
• Good communication & managerial skills

5. Electrical Inspector

Job Responsibilities: 
• Responsible for monitoring and coordinating subcontractor performance on the construction of the power plant project’s electrical facilities and other common electrical facilities to ensure that construction is done as according to specification, design, and schedule as well as to support the electrical engineering construction for auxiliary power.
• Monitor subcontractor’s performance on the construction of the power plant’s Electrical facilities to ensure that construction is done according to design and provide back up for voltage facilities management if needed.
• Identify instrumentation and electrical design issues during the construction of the power plant’s Electrical facilities and to recommend and coordinate action plans to ensure corrective action is taken.
• Monitor and report subcontractor’s construction progress for the power plant’s Electrical facilities to ensure construction is done on the schedule and to recommend corrective actions for any instrumentation, control, and electrical engineering issues.
• Identify potential cost-effective equipment modification that has the potential to improve performance, reliability and safety.
• Coordinate and monitor the implementation of instructions regarding the construction of the power plant’s Electrical facilities from Electrical team leader and C&I and E Engineering Manager to ensure construction is done as according to the agreed design.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities regarding the construction of Electrical facilities for the power plant and to monitor the progress and performance of the subcontractors to ensure that the power plant’s Electrical facilities is constructed on schedule and on spec.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma Degree (D3) graduate majoring in Electrical Engineering from reputable University, min GPA 3.00
• Have 3-5 years’ experience in electrical engineering project (project construction or plant maintenance) preferably in power plant projects.
• Good competencies on electrical engineering, project management, technology design, and systems analysis.
• Good command in English both verbal and written
• Willing to be on contractual basis during the project

6. Civil Inspector (Foundation)

• Identify civil design issues during the construction of the power plant’s civil works and to recommend and coordinate action plans to ensure corrective action is taken.
• Monitor and report subcontractor’s construction progress for the power plant’s civil works to ensure construction is done on schedule and to recommend corrective actions for any civil engineering issues.
• Identify potential cost-effective equipment modification that has the potential to improve performance, reliability and safety.
• Coordinate and monitor the implementation of instructions regarding the construction of the power plant’s civil facilities from the Civil Team Leader and Civil Engineering Manager to ensure construction is done as according to the agreed design.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities regarding the construction of civil facilities for the power plant and to monitor the progress and performance of the subcontractors to ensure that the power plant’s civil facilities is constructed on schedule and on spec.
Job Requirements :
• Minimum Diploma Degree (D3) graduate majoring in Civil Engineering
• Have minimum 3 years experience in civil construction preferably in coal fired power plant construction projects, oil & gas, or chemical plant/factory construction
• Have good competencies on construction methods and system analysis.
• Good command in English both verbal and written

7. Water Management Engineer

Employment Status : Contract
Work Location : Tanjung, Kalimantan Selatan
Job Responsibilities :
• Responsible for developing and implementing water management plans and improvement program in the area of water catchment and the pit dedicated as water sources for power plant.
• Develop and apply surface water models involving rainfall runoff/hydrology and open channel hydraulic processes for mine-scale water management planning, including watershed-scale analysis, reservoir evaluation, open channels hydraulic and hydraulic structures design analysis and maintenance.
• Gathering, organizing, managing, and analyzing data on run-off water, water level, pumping requirement, climate, rainfall, etc., typically in a GIS/database environment.
• Develop and maintain water quantity and quality data/analysis.
• Data manipulation/analysis in spreadsheets, databases, and GIS using automation technique.
• Communicate effectively with operating, geology, technical groups, contractors, etc.; and liaise with outside agencies to meet the operations overall objectives
• Ensure that all related works comply with applicable environmental regulations
• Technical writing for operations and project documents, including technical review of reports from external consultants (if any)
Job Requirements :
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
• Have minimum 3 years experience in the related field from mining industry
• Required skills: Water Management, Enviroment Certification (Certified), Pengawas Operasional Pratama POP (Certified)
• Good command in English both verbal and written
• Good communication skill
