Details | The
focus is on asset optimization and cost reduction efforts. Continued
transition to mechanized mining, bulk mining and material movement
automation is expected to result in mining lower grade ore and lower
mining costs. Rationalization of the infrastructure is also underway to
reduce costs. We are excited to have experienced and qualified team
members join our team and our community. The Business Analyst will be responsible for providing strategic analysis on a multitude of areas affecting the business.
Responsibilities:
•
Development and maintain a tracking and reporting system for key
operational metrics and financial data. Including capital projects as
well as monthly operational cost tracking.
•
Performing ad-hoc analysis to identify and forecast future trends and
assist in identifying reasons for changes in key metrics.
• Assist in identifying areas of improvement while working with the business stakeholders to uncover suitable solutions.
•
Assist operational and project groups to develop strong supporting
financial justification for new capital projects and new mining
horizons.
• Identifying process improvements to streamline data collection/management and analytics
• Building presentations to summarize and present key messages to senior management
• Assist with the month end process
• Maintain awareness of accounting regulations, industry trends and new practices.

3. Position Title | Engineering Manager |

Details | Responsible
for overall management of a team of engineers designers, drafters and
document controller who are responsible for providing engineering
deliverables and technical expertise. 1. Supervises the engineering and design activities.
a. Recruit engineers;
b. Establish relationship with university for recruitment;
c.
Establish relationship with design services, and manpower supply
companies for purposes of engineering subcontracting, or temporary
hiring of personnel;
d. Prepare yearly investment plan for engineering tools;
e. Appoint engineering leader, discipline engineers, designers in conjunction with project manager and BU manager;
f. Analyse the budget of engineering proposed by the lead engineers prior to starting the work;
g.
Conduct engineering reviews to monitor and ensure engineering
activities meet the engineering deliverables quality, schedule, and
within the budget.
2. Develop & update engineering procedures
a. Control and supervise discipline engineers to establish and improve work procedures.
b. Ensure the implementation of applicable procedures.
3. Develops personnel competencies
a. Evaluate personnel performance;
b. Prepare training plan, and monitoring the planning

Requirements | • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical/mechanical). • Master’s degree in engineering management preferred.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years in a management role.
• Analytical and mathematical mind, capable of evaluating and solving various complex problems.
•
Leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a team of around 50
personnel with multi-discipline (electrical, control, civil and
mechanical)
• Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment
• Interpersonal communication skills with expertise in distilling complicated topics to a broader audience.
• Fluent in English.
• Age range ± 40 years old.
