SUPERVISOR MECHANIC (MAJOR TR/DZ/GR) - 926391

Some of your duties will include;
• To ensure that the maintenance department goals are achieved
• Ensure maximum communication levels are maintained between workshop and operations personnel.
• Able to work with OCDC, JDE, open and close out work orders, DMG and SOS outstanding, Component Failure Investigation
•
Able to diagnose and analyse component condition which having normal,
abnormal, premature failure, and recommend parts those needed.
• Ensure correct procedures and steps in doing troubleshooting of Volvo, Terex, Komatsu truck machine
•
Maintain DOOD, Pre service, and Mechanical inspection sheets and return
service packages in 24 hours after machine release; ensure submission
to planning department with in repair and parts recommendation. Address
all known work, breakdowns, and planned maintenance
•
Planning and co-ordination of shut down in cooperation with planning
department. Ensure all repairs are carried out in a cost effective and
timely manner.
• Investigation and
reporting of all accident damage toward all equipment under his
responsible and associated area, this includes operator abuse.
•
Maintain all workplace safety inspections requirement ex. SBO, Amankah,
JSEA, Ensure a safe working environment for all employee by ensure all
activities are carry out according to the work procedures in the TMC and
GBU project management plan
•
Ensure that there is no impact on the environment from the activities
that are carried out to operate and repair equipment by ensuring that
the procedures in the TMS and GBU Management plan are followed.
•
Ensure all disciplinary actions are issued as required in accordance
with the GBU mine regulations and maintenance departments’ rules.
What skills and experience do you need?
•
Minimum Senior High School, Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Trade
Specialist is preferred; requires a minimum 3 years professional
experience in similar role as Senior Supervisor with relevant
qualification in Mechanical & Auto Electrical HE Repair and Plant
Supervision in mining industry, planning of daily shut down schedule and
breakdown repair; mechanical & auto electrical repair experience in
HD Truck/Dozer/Grader unit such as Caterpillar, Komatsu ; handling
diagnostic skill in all aspects of electrical repairs;

Good leadership and people management skills preferably with training
in staff supervision; have ability in resource planning and OHS&E
supervision; excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both

SUPERVISOR MECHANIC (MEDIUM TRUCK) - 926393

Some of your duties will include;
•
To ensure that the Maintenance Department goals are achieved MA>90
%, MTBS>60 hours Zero LTI, by following the procedures which are set
up in TMS.
• Communication and
reporting. Ensure maximum communication levels are maintained between
workshop and operations personnel regarding breakdowns safety issues and
prioritizing of equipment repairs.
•
Ensure to accurate the completion of daily breakdown report for
reviewing by the Senior Supervisor before end of shift every day.
•
Analysis of component condition and recommendation of parts required.
Ensure that the correct procedures are used when breakdowns and failures
troubleshooting.
• Ensure all WOs
open status have been compared with current break down equipment to make
sure all WOs are controlled and closed if the job has been done.
•
Review DOOD (Daily Outstanding Operator Defect), SOS report, mechanical
inspection is analysed and reviewed and also ensure it is submitted in
daily complete with the part recommendation. Ensure the mechanic raises
the list of part recommended accurately to address all backlog,
breakdowns and planned maintenance.
•
Ensure all break down machine are reported in OCDC, and all information
repair description, coding, start and finish have been filled in OCDC
correctly.
• Prepare parts equipment
and manpower for planned work and shutdown days, ensure all repairs are
carried out in an effective cost and timely manner.
•
Investigation and reporting of all accident damage to all equipment in
the field and associated area, this is included with the operator abuse.
•
Make a safe working environment for all employees by ensuring all
activities are carry out according to the work procedures in the TMS,
JSEAs are relevant and all hazards are controlled.
•
Ensure that there is no impact for the environment from the activities
that are carried out to operate and repair equipment by ensuring that
the procedures in the TMS are followed.
•
Ensure that all maintenance tasks are carried out in a safe and make
sure subordinate understand of our objectives and Thiess policies, and
address all safety information to crew.

qualification in Mechanical Medium Truck Repair and Plant Supervision in
mining industry, planning of daily shut down schedule and breakdown
repair; mechanical.

SUPERVISOR WELDING - 926384

Some of your duties will include:
•
Monitor NDT crack testing on big digger, Cracks inspection and follow
up repair as required; Monitoring NDT crack testing on all dump Trucks,
crack inspection checks prior units servicing and recorded in system and
follow up repair as required;
• To ensure do Bucket crack inspection and GET on big digger at mining rest time;
• Monitor Small digger Bucket, Blade on Dozers NDT test and follow up replacement or repair schedule;
•
Ensure that the correct work procedures are used for Cracks repairs and
keep good quality of repairs; Monitor and maintain importance all
welding and electrical tools keep it good condition and replacement is
requiring if necessary and proper use; ensure all welding machines are
in good working order and condition; ensure all oxy acet sets and hoses
in good conditions including flash back arresters and all oxy acet
equipment; ensure all welding PPE is worn and in good condition; monitor
welding consumables and maintain stocks.

similar role as Supervisor Welding in Heavy Equipment Maintenance
Industry;
• You should have good

SUPERVISOR DRILL & BLASTING – 926399

Some of your duties will include;
• To ensure the implementing of drill and blast design so as to achieve the good blast fragmentation in most efficiency manner;
•
Plan and supervise blast activity following safe and efficient blast
target and to maximize coal recovery in the most cost effective manner.
• To be responsible in monitoring and controlling blast activities and blast sequence;
•
To ensure blast activity productivity are meeting targets; ensure blast
designs and plans from Drill and Blast Engineer are implemented on the
field; and make sure drilled holes are recorded, documented and
reported;
• To coordinate with
mining supervisor; coordinate with Drill and Blast Engineer about
explosive charging plan for high-wall design, coal design, wedge area;
and liaise with Drill and Blast Engineer regarding drill design and
planning.
What skills and experience do you need?
• Minimum Senior High School grade with experience as Blast Supervision minimum 3 years, and minimum 5 years of site experience;
•
Understand the drill blast design and explosive product usage; have
Supervisory level 1 (Pratama) certification; and Blast Trainee 2nd class
(KJL Kelas 2).
