We are currently taking applicants for the following position:
BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT SUPERINTENDENT
(Assignment: Head Office)
Monitor, control and analyse operation data, processes, procedures & performance, and ensure E&C BL initiatives implementation, on-site improvement running well and follow timeline using established continuous improvement techniques. Ensure continuous improvement processes and tasks are in line with organizational goal.
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Mining, Civil, Mechanical or Industrial especially have E&C environment experience
• At least 5 years working experiences in E&C operations especially at Continuous Improvement section
• Having experience as Software Developer and manage database
• Good as liaison between teams
• Good understanding of Digitalization especially about Construction 4.0
• Certified and minimum 4+ years experiences implementing change using continuous improvement tools (i.e.: Six Sigma, Balance Scorecard, Malcolm Baldrige, Statistical Process Control, ISO 9000 Series, etc.)
• Strong computer skills, preference is competent using statistical software application such as MINITAB or equivalent
• Strong on analytical (multi variance data) skills and Problem solving skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in English
• Willing to travel frequently to the company’s project sites
• Good understanding of Mining & Construction Business Process
• Demonstrated ability to influence others and lead change.
Responsibilities:
• Analysis of operational data to determine performance or cost issues and work toward solution
• Able to develop and follow up a specific continuous improvement method/concept to measure the gap between current processes capable with the project's goals
• Monitor, control, evaluate and review all ongoing projects and promptly provide financial, and technical E&C support to ensure project development conform to the initial plan
• Analyze the root causes for defects, improve the process capability by eliminating the root causes, and control the new process to sustain the improvements
• Mentor and teach continuous improvement tools and techniques project personnel, acting as a resource to lead improvement initiatives
• Actively lead continuous improvement teams directed at high impact projects, within the E&C department
• Actively participate in the development, sharing and application of E&C best practices
• Develop and follow a specific method/discipline to measure the gap between current process capabilities with the project's goals
• Establishes necessary systems to maintain the improvements, and based on the results continuously adjusts the business strategic action plans
• Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.
