Under Indonesia’s independent power programme, PT. YTL Jawa Timur operates and maintains this 2x610 MW Coal-fired Power Station. The station is located at Paiton, Probolinggo District of East Java, 141 km Southeast of Surabaya.
We currently have a vacancy for:
MECHANICAL ENGINEER for Engineering & Maintenance
Responsibilities of the Engineer include the long term and short term maintenance activities associated with Coal & Ash Handling, Air Heater, Fans, FGD, Compressors, Pumps and other rotating equipments.
Candidate for this position should possess:
1. Maximum 35 years old;
2. S1 degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable University (ITS, Unbraw, UGM, ITB, etc.);
3. Having 5 years minimum experiences as maintenance Engineer in Power Generation sector, oil & Gas sector or other heavy industries;
4. Having a strong experience work on large axial and centrifugal fans;
5. Having a strong knowledge of rotating equipment, vibration and balancing
6. Having knowledge of materials, welding, NDT, alignment, rigging and failure root analysis;
7. Capable and willingness to work under pressure, extended working hours and Call In scheme;
Accurate, reliable, enthusiasm and having good written and spoken English.
