Manager (OIM-Roving)
Responsibilities :
Lead, direct and provide technical advisory and consultancy to Field operations and standardize operational best practices / lesson learnt in an efficient and safe manner. Act as a resource person for troubleshooting and operational technical procedures review towards HSE and Operational Excellence.
Accountabilities :
* Provide expert guidance; recommend solutions and advisory roles to the Field operations and Production department by having in-depth technical skill and knowledge on the operational matters to ensure operational excellence and safe operations.
* Provide guidance and assistance in troubleshooting of operational problems to operations in a timely and safe manner in order to avoid any interruption to the production to achieve the business target.
* Lead operational audit throughout Field operations to ensure all compliances are adhered to in meeting the production target.
* Drive the identification, evaluation and implementation of appropriate/ new process technology to enhance production performance and facilities uptime, cost effectiveness and operational excellence.
* Drive the sharing and standardizing of operational best practices/lessons learnt to Fields operations and leverage the implementation throughout the Fields. Lead, direct and provide coaching on Field operations best practices to OIM and Production Supervisors e.g. Emergency Response Plan, Emergency Shutdown Testing, etc. Analyze and track competencies of OIM and Operations Supervisors to close competency gap
Qualification :
*Degree in Chemical Engineering discipline or equivalent with 8-10 years
*Industry experience in the management of process function in the upstream and downstream oil and gas industry.
*Willing to be based at any Petronas Carigali assets around the globe.
