PT Panca Amara Utama (“PAU”) is a 700,000 MT per year ammonia initiative. Ammonia is a chemical compound used in the manufacture of fertilizer, explosives, acids and other petrochemical products. This USD 830 million project is built near Luwuk, Central Sulawesi. One of the biggest industrial project in Eastern Indonesia, PAU initiative supports the government’s directive to increase domestic value addition within the country.
PT PAU’s ammonia plant runs on KBR’s Reforming Exchanger System & Purifier Technology, the leading technology in Ammonia production. This represents its first application in the world, which puts Indonesia at the forefront of Ammonia production worldwide.
Construction began in June 2015 and the plant began commercial operations in September 2018.

1. Training Lead (Code: TRN-LEAD)
Qualification:
- Male, with age maximum 50 years old
- Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, or any Engineering field
- Minimum 15 years of working experience in Ammonia plant and/or Petrochemical Plant in production/process section. Preferably have working experience as Supervisor/Superintendent and above
- Have Training undertaken: Operation Principal of Ammonia Plant, basic process of Ammonia plant, basic knowledge of industrial equipment in Ammonia Plant, Ammonia process, etc.
- Strong leadership
- Fluent in English

2. Shift Superintendent (Code: SHIFT-SPT)
Qualifications:
- Male with age maximum 48 years old
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 20 years of working experience in production area of Ammonia plant, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Fertilizer. Preferably have experience as Shift Superintendent
- Have good technical understanding of Ammonia process
- Familiar with KBR Technology
- Fluent in English

3. HSE Manager (Code: HSE-MGR)
Qualifications:
- Male with maximum age 48 years old
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 15 – 20 years of working experience in Ammonia Plant, Petrochemical, and/or Oil & Gas companies in HSE Department
- Preferably have experience in commissioning and start up plant
- Fluent in English
- Placement in Site Plant at Luwuk, Central Sulawesi with roster work system
4. Process Manager (Code: PROCESS-MGR)
Qualifications:
- Male with age 40 – 48 years old
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 15 - 20 years of working experience in Ammonia Plant or Petrochemical company. Preferably have experience with KBR technology
- Fluent in English

5. DCS Operator Ammonia (Code: DCO-AP)
Qualifications:
- Male, with age maximum 45 years old
- SMK/Diploma/Bachelor Degree from any technical field
- Have minimum 8 years of working experience in Production area in Ammonia Plant as DCS Operator
- Has good technical understanding of Ammonia process
- Familiar with KBR technology
- Have experiences in Field Operator and operate DCS Ammonia (Front End, Middle End, Back End) for start-up, production and trouble-shooting
- Understand reformer, KRES, HTS, LTS, Compressor, Co2 Removal, Steam System, Chemical Injection, Cooling Water System, Synloop, Ammonia Storage Tank, Ammonia Transfer, BOG Compressor & Flare Stack
- Able to communicate in English

6. DCS Operator Utility (Code: DCO-UT)
Qualifications:
- Male, age around 30-45 years old
- Have working experience minimum 8 years in Ammonia plant / Petrochemical / Oil & Gas / Power Plant
- SMK/Diploma/Bachelor degree from any technical/engineering field
- Has good technical understanding of Ammonia process
- Familiar with KBR technology
- Understand Power, Steam Generator, Flare System, SWI, WTP, WWT, Ammonia Storage & Transfer, Fire Water System
- Able to communicate in English

7. Marine Manager (Code: MARINE-MGR)
Qualifications:
- Male, with age 40-50 years old
- Education background from Maritime Academy with Certificate of Marine Class-1 (COC Class-1)
- Have minimum 15-20 years of working experience in a Tanker Ship, with last rank as Master on Tanker ship for minimum 5 years
- Having knowledge in marine operations, familiar with the gas and oil terminal requirements as well as procedures of ship safety cargo operations
- Required strong nautical and cargo handling knowledge
- Fluent in English is a must
- Placement at Site plant in Luwuk, Central Sulawesi with roster work system
8. External Relations & Security Manager (Code: ERS-MGR)
Qualifications:
- Male, with age of 40-50 years old
- Bachelor's Degree in any Social or Technical field or equivalent
- Having minimum 15-20 years of working experience in the same position. Having experiences in Petrochemical and Oil & Gas will be additional value
- Familiar with handling external relations with public and government in remote area
- Familiar with handling security at remote area
- Fluent in English both spoken and written

9. HR Service Lead (Code: HRS-LEAD)
Qualifications:
- Female/male with maximum age 45 years old
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Psychology, Management, or Law from reputable University
- Minimum 10 years of working experience as HR, preferably working at Site/Remote area in Petrochemical/Oil & Gas/Mining companies with more than 300 employees, and more than 200 employees from outsourcing
- Have role experience as Supervisor/Team Leader/Assistant Manager in HR Department
- Skill required: UU 13-2003, BPJS Kesehatan & BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, work schedule & system for roster, work shifting, health insurance for employee, ERP system, HRMS (AX) implementation
- Fluent in English

10. Reliability & Inspection Engineer (Code: RI-ENG)
Qualifications:
- Maximum age 38 years old
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of working experience with a focus in reliability and inspection in Ammonia plant or Petrochemical facilities
- Involved in the engineering, fabrication, quality control (inspection, examination and testing) of pressure vessel, tank, heat exchanger, piping and steel structure
- Familiar with Code & Standard for design, fabrication, and construction for pressure vessel, heat exchanger, tank, piping and pipeline
- Familiar with Reliability-centered maintenance implementation
- Strong understanding in Reliability and Inspection activities
