We are looking for qualified personnel with high motivation, initiative, and integrity to fill in the following positions:
POSITION: TELECOM ENGINEER
Purpose:
- Responsible for stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services to meet business operational requirements through planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide-area networks (WANs); System Infrastructure (Server, Storage, Active Directory) and ICT Field System (e.g. VSAT, Microwave Radio, PAGA, CCTV, UHF Trunking Radio, Aeronautical Radio, Marine Radio, Meteorological System, Navigational System, etc.) across the organization respecting Company Standard Control.
General Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Governance
- Create and maintain documentation/procedures related to Network & System infrastructure, processes, and service records.
- Collaborate with HQ and department team in planning network capacity needs.
- Perform network and system audits.
Project Management
- Design and deploy Network and System Infrastructure.
- Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
- Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking & system industry.
Operational Management
- Ensure excellent network & system infrastructure performance.
- Manage network security. Analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
- Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Manage servers (including database, e-mail, printers), backup servers and their associated operating systems, and software (including system backups and recovery).
- Responsible to ensure ICT Field System (e.g. VSAT, Microwave Radio, PAGA, CCTV, UHF Trunking Radio, Aeronautical Radio, Marine Radio, Meteorological System, Navigational System, etc.) is working properly to support operation daily activity.
Main Interfaces:
- Internal: ICT department for maintaining teamwork and daily operation; end-user for support, problem-solving, and issue resolution; Regional and HQ Team for support, collaboration, and problem-solving.
- External: ICT Service Providers for products and services; ICT System Contractors to monitor provided service and given performance; Government Authorities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor degree in technical discipline especially in computer science/information technology/telecommunication from an accredited institution
- Professional Qualification:
• Preferably hold a minimum 1 (one) of networking certification: Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) or equivalent
• Minimum 3 (three) years of Oil and Gas Industry experience and minimum 5 (five) years of ICT experience
- Training and Courses:
• Employee Induction including HSE Awareness
• Network & system administration

• Cisco IP Telephony
