We are currently taking applicants for the following position:
COMMERCIAL ENGINEER
(Assignment: Kalimantan Tengah)
Responsible for the preparation, review, and monitoring of contracts related to Clients, including auditing documents for compliance and offering a legal perspective to all situations that may expose company to risk in order to enhance company’s effectiveness and efficiencies in terms of minimising such risk in commercial.
Requirements:
1. Min bachelor degree in Engineering.
2. Min 2 (two) years of experience in Contract or Commercial or Mine Reporting or Cost Control or QS.
3. Has ability/experience in writing formal/contractual letter in English.
4. Has experience in quantity measurement activities.
5. Proficient in using MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
6. Eager to work hard, good teamwork, accountable, good analytical skill, and has knowledge in Mining operation.
7. Willing to travel to project sites as required.
Responsibilities:
• Review and analyse contracts at the Tender stage, provide input to Superior regarding to the contract composition, legalities and any qualifications required in order to align terms and conditions to company contracting principles.
• Assist Superior in developing appropriate contractual strategies in order to maximise contract position.
• Draft formal letters and attend negotiations of a contractual nature in order to provide logistical support to Project Managers in resolving contractual issues with the Clients.
• Organize and administer documentation of variations and claims to their scope of work and successfully negotiate these to settlement, including a running log of all contractual correspondence to settlement, in order to provide commercial administration support
• Analyse and negotiate contract in order to get through to contract settlement with Clients.
• Monitor and control contract implementation to ensure that both the Clients and company follow the contractual requirements of the contract such that the company is not exposed to unnecessary costs or penalties.
• Evaluate and analyse all legal aspects of commercial documents or contracts and manage such to stay abreast of commercial change or risk.
• Evaluate and conduct restructuring of internal documents to ensure all company’s documents are in accordance with the Petrosea Contracting Principles and management of commercial contracts.
• Analyse draft of Clients’ contract document regarding cost & risks, both inside and outside scope of work.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness on submission and circulation of Client Monthly Report (CMR).
• Review Progress Claim in monthly basis.
• Monitoring Rise & Fall in monthly basis.
• Monitoring invoice and Client’s payment.
• Prepare agenda for Project Monthly Report (PMR), record the action list, and collect the presentation slide from each Project.
• Monitoring contractual issue via MOM, coordinate with Site if Variation is identified.
• Prepare contractual correspondence to Clients / Vendors.
• Attend and/or involve in audit investigation.
• Attend and/or involve in Vendors / Subcontractors / Suppliers / Clients meeting and visit.
• Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.
CONTRACT ENGINEER - CONSTUCTION
(Assignment: Central Kalimantan)
Administer the commercial and contractual operation of the various agreements (i.e. plant hire, services and preferred vendor) at the project site level, including the definition/s of scope of work, identification of both parties’ responsibilities, and interpretation of relevant contract conditions; to ensure that the project requirements from the vendors / suppliers / subcontractors are adequately delivered to the “user” in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
• Min. Bachelor degree from Engineering
• Min. 3 years experiences in Contract Management
• Requires travel to Project locations as required
• Vendor/suppliers/subcontractors meetings and visits
• Interface with commercial/legal service providers
• Audits investigations
• Risk and exposure due diligence
Responsibilities:
• Support and assist supervisor in reviewing all contracts / agreements giving input regarding the contract composition and any qualifications required in order to align terms and conditions to company’s Contracting Principles.
• Assist supervisor in developing appropriate contractual strategies in order to maximise contract position.
• Resolve contractual issues with the Client / Vendors, including drafting formal letters and attending negotiations of a contractual nature in order to provide logistical support to Project Managers.
• Prepare and administer documentation of variations and claims to their scope of work and, including a running log of all contractual correspondence to settlement in order to provide contract administration support.

PROJECT ENGINEER
(Assignment: Central Kalimantan)
Prepare and assist in preparation and implementation Project Execution Plan, from identify project plans and proposals to review & analyze project progress; ensuring all documentations and specifications, both internal and external, are conform to Company’s standard and procedures
Requirements:
• Min. Bachelor degree in Engineering
• Min. 3 years previous experiences as Project Engineer Mechanical
• Proven track record of performing a Project Engineers role in projects in the Mineral Sector that also encompasses a multi-cultural workforce with the use of International Subcontractors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction management principles and practices. Must possess an in depth knowledge of the Engineering and Design process as well as extensive experience in construction methods.
• Willing to work extended hours to meet with Project deadlines
• Required to work onsite in extreme remote areas with limited facilities
• Requires multitasking capabilities (project engineering, scheduling, budgeting, etc)
• Ability to supervise and evaluate the work of subordinates.
Responsibilities:
• Assists in preparation and implementation of PEP (Project Execution Plan).
• Prepare and distribute a description and timeline of the project; calculates time frames and sequences the stages of the project
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
• Maintain a TQ status report to track all TQ’s.
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s’ performance) and report regularly on project status.
• Keeps an accurate record and electronic database of all elements of the projects.
• Prepare report review of entire project for continuity and completeness daily, weekly, and/or monthly
• Ensuring all procedures and documentation are submitted to the Client for review and approval in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with all project related personnel on day-to-day progress.
PROJECT ENGINEERING SUPERINTENDENT
(Assignment: Central Kalimantan)
Monitor and review in preparation and implementation Project Execution Plan, analyze and create Problem solving through different operational problems, and develop process or standard based on organization needs.
Requirements:
• Min. Bachelor degree in Engineering
• Min. 5 years experiences as Project Engineering
• Proven track record of performing a Project Engineers role in projects in the Mineral sector that also encompasses a multi-cultural workforce with the use of International Subcontractors.

SURVEYOR
(Assignment: Central Kalimantan)
Conducts surveys at surface and subsurface mine sites to implement mine design and obtain data used in planning mining operations including monitoring recovery, productivity and submission of progress claims align with company’s policies and rules.
Requirements:
• Min. Bachelor Degree in Geodetic Engineering
• Min. 2 years experiences as a Surveyor
• Hold POP competency & Mine Surveying certificate (sertifikat juru ukur)
• Competent in use of Ms. Office
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Outstanding leadership skill
• Able to operate mining survey equipment
• Willing to be placed in all project
• May be required to work flexible hours to suit Project requirements
Responsibilities:
• Collect and develop survey data and maintain the database to ensure the accordance with the set of standard procedures and systems.
• Conduct field surveys in good time and accurately determine quantities necessary for the submission of monthly progress claims.
• Collect acurate daily survey and download data into the computer to ensure datas are interpreted accurately by the Survey Draftsman.
• Coordinate and liase with Engineering & Constructions Team to ensure that construction designs are being properly implemented in the field
• Use and maintain survey software in order to ensure efficiency in survey activities.
• Coach and mentor Survey Assistant and provide them with skills in order to collect the survey pick-ups in the absence of a Surveyor.
• Contribute to the compilation of tenders by providing Mine planning and design support needed by the Estimator.
