LEGAL MANAGER
Job Summary:
Coordinate and ensure the provision of high quality in-house legal services for the Premier Oil Indonesia business by supporting the Indonesia Senior Management Team, and advise them where non-compliance occurs or is likely to occur. Monitor Premier’s compliance with contractual requirements, local and international laws and regulations, and internal policies and procedures including code of conduct.
• Provide an in-house review and advisory capability around legal issues for all Indonesia assets and projects.
• Deliver advice to, and represent the business for all legal and related matters.
• Draft, negotiate and review documents for general commercial transactions, and in the confidential exchange of information including new block acquisition process.
• Develop effective client relationships and act as Management’s legal representative in negotiation with Government institution (SKK Migas, Migas, ESDM, Kemenkeu), (potential) Partners and Buyers.
• Administer company legal files, monitoring all deadlines and obligations, and act as company representative on legal matters to outside institutions and stakeholders.
• Strengthen Premier Indonesia’s Legal processes and systems to ensure compliance to various laws and regulations including but limited to PTK 007.
• Instruct approved external counsel as required if in-house legal resources cannot deliver required legal support in the required time-frame, if specialist legal advice is required, or the matters are of high value or strategically / politically sensitive.
• Own, control and update (as required) the Premier Indonesia Code of Conduct system, Legal BMS, proforma contracts and other Legal Documents.
• Manage and supervise the staff members of the Legal Department and ensure they work efficiently on various legal issues.
• Advise VP Legal, Commercial & Planning if in-house resource constraints are apparent / likely and Report regularly to on general activities, increasing frequency where issues arises with a high degree of political sensitivity, very high $ value, or are of key strategic importance.
• Ensure HSES principles embedded in all contracts & legal documents as appropriate.
Requirement:
• Bachelor Degree in Law with strong academic credentials (Master of Laws or LLM is preferable).
• Membership of industry and professional bodies – having PERADI (advocate) license is a plus.
• 15 years of experience in an in-house position and/or in a leading Law Firm or an upstream oil and gas organisation, with 5 years in a Leadership / Management role.
• Oil and Gas industry knowledge from a Legal perspective is highly regarded.
• High degree of competency in reviewing and drafting legal documents.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in GSA and/or LNG Contract is preferable.
RISK MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST – Audit & Risk Management Dept
Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring risk management process of PONSBV in Indonesia Business Unit to achieve commercial profitability in accomplishing company goals.
• Identify and deal with key issues related with risks in the oil & gas business, and how to manage & minimize those risks to maximize profitability in achieving company goals.
• Compile & analyse data on company business performance and latest industry trends to develop risk management report.
• Perform evaluation & mitigation of risks facing Indonesia Business Unit (BU).
• Develop risk management plan in coordination with respective departments and stakeholders.
• Deliver risk management plan for senior management to assess and mitigate current & potential business risks.
• Provide risk management recommendations for current company situation and future business plans.
• Provide expertise regarding risk management aspects in the development of annual BU audit programme.
• Conduct risk management reviews and workshops to help Indonesia BU identify, monitor and manage its risk exposure. Develop Risk Level Matrix for the QPR.
• Provide expertise and coaching to BU risk owners and sponsors as needed to help them define their risks, proficient at the controls and mitigations required to manage these risks, and ensure they maintain their risks in the ARROW risk register.
• Maintain up to date on latest information of the oil & gas industry and overall global economy.
• Develop routine and non-routine reports to management on risk management matters.
Requirement:
•  Bachelor degree in Management, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
•  10 years of experience in Risk Management in oil & gas industry.
•  Strong planning, organising & prioritisation skills.

•  Proficient on group risk management Policy, Standard & Procedures and their implications and application in the BU.

SENIOR COMPLETION ENGINEER – Drilling Dept
Job Summary:
Responsible for providing completion in general and specifically in sanding study and stimulation design technical expertise to ensure best reservoir wellbore interface applied. The design should also be in compliance with drilling management system by implementing application of innovative fit for purpose and engineered the drilling programmes across PONSBV premises.
General
• Maintain coordination with all related stakeholders from planning to execution phase of completion & testing activities to minimize disruptions.
• Examining and making recommendations to solve well design problems, and to maximize daily output in a safe manner.
• Making sure that the well delivery process is within the expected time and budget.
• Collaboration with the rest of the well delivery team departments, local authorities and regulators.
Engineering
• Designing sand control that fit for purpose.
• Designing frac pack simulation ensuring optimum frac properties are achieved.
• Conduct laboratory testing to ensure compatibility and non-damaging fluid is used.
• Responsible for and assure Completion Basis of Design complies with Drilling Management System (DMS).
• Responsible for and assure Completion & Testing Programs complies with DMS.
• Examining test results, then applying the stimulation techniques as required.
Procurement
• TADM contract for pumping and stimulation, lower completion tool and upper completion.
• Determining and ordering supplies and equipment such as the correct spec. and quantity of tubing and other completion equipment.
• Preparing cost estimates and risk assessments as part of the well delivery team.
• Monitoring practical safety aspects and manufacturers use guidelines supplied with equipment.
Supervising
• Supervise completion and stimulation on the field.
• Provide driller's instruction related to completion operation.
• Provide rig-site technical support for all critical and/or unusual completion & testing operations.
Reporting
• Provide Handover document at the end of every well operation.
• Provide routine and non-routine reports (including End of Well Report) for the completion & testing activities.
• Develop and assure achievement of key performance indicators for completion & testing activities, including Non-Productive Time (NPT).
• Assure all data related with completion & testing activities are accurate, up to date and traceable.
Requirement:
•  Bachelor degree in Engineering discipline, preferably majoring in oil & gas science or petroleum engineering.
•  10 years of experience in oil & gas completion, stimulation and testing.
•  In-depth knowledge of operation for completion & testing procedures and regulations.
•  Possess good knowledge of reservoir engineering.
•  Possess good knowledge about instrument and maintenance of well site.
•  Fluent in English both written & spoken.
•  Proficient with Ms Office.
•  Proficient with hydraulic fracturing software (Stimplan).
•  Proficient with tubing stress analysis and annular pressure buildup software (WellCat).

GEOPHYSICIST – Exploration Dept
Job Summary:
Responsible for delivering high quality geophysical analysis, studies and interpretation in compliance with the Premier Oil Exploration Technical Standards that generate acreage acquisition and exploration drilling investment proposals.
• Accuracy, confidence and compliance with minimum technical standards in the following;
- Advanced level of competence and knowledge in 2D and 3D seismic acquisition and processing seismic interpretation, depth conversion, offset and stack seismic response modelling and analysis, and potential field interpretation.
- Demonstrable expert capability in the use of analytical techniques on work station applications licensed by the company.
- Fundamental knowledge and practice of petroleum geology and the geological interpretation of seismic and potential field data.
- Advanced level of competence and knowledge in the use and application of AVO analysis, seismic inversion, seismic stratigraphy, and pore pressure analysis from seismic data.
• The integrity of geophysical evaluations supporting exploration investment proposals including but not limited to 2D and 3D seismic data acquisition, exploration well planning and site survey acquisition.
• Ensuring compliance with HSE policy in all geophysical activity for projects the candidate is responsible for.
• Generation and evaluation of exploration prospects through integrated geophysical and geophysical interpretations, studies and analysis.
• Host Authority representation.
Requirement:
•  Bachelor of Science or preferably Master of Science in Geophysics or Earth Science.
•  Indonesian Nationals
•  15 years of experience as Geophysicist in oil & gas industry.
•  Having an international exposure in the Oil and Gas Industry or Research is preferable.
•  Demonstrable experience in the entire exploration process including, but not limited to the following is required.
•  Seismic Acquisition & Processing.
•  A knowledge of Quantitative Interpretation (offset, stack, gather and inversion) analysis.
•  Fundamental knowledge of petroleum geology and petroleum systems.
•  Experience in forward modelling of seismic response and seismic structural interpretation to prospect generation and regional structural mapping.
•  Experience in well planning and pore pressure analysis.
•  Experience in using SAAMS.
•  Experience in prospect resource and risk assessment, review and audit.
•  Good understanding on geological concept and applications including knowledge on regional geology, structural geology and play fairway analysis.
•  Strong skill on seismic interpretation (qualitative and quantitative) and mapping. good understanding on Structural Geology validation and coordinate reference systems.
•  Advanced knowledge of computer systems and software used in the oil & gas exploration is required. Such systems include but may not be limited to.
•  Kingdom Suite, Petrel, GS Log, Neura Map/Log, Arc GIS, Petroview, IHS Probe, etc.Fluent in both written and spoken English and good presentation skill.
GEOLOGIST – Exploration Dept
Job Summary:
Responsible for performing various geological evaluations and studies related to exploration development activities to achieve business objectives and goals.
• Conducts and assist in conducting a variety of complex geological studies for the exploration and appraisal of prospects (e.g. hydrocarbon maturation, migration and traps) and discovered fields.
• With technical support from consultants and other Exploration Department staff, develops and presents prospects for management approval and to JV partners.
• Provides geological support and expert advice to guide exploration and appraisal / delineation drilling.
• Assists with basin evaluation studies.
• Assists in planning most economic and effective combination of data gathering / evaluation procedures.
• Prepares Work Programme, provides input on preparation of technical specifications for contracts, carries out the bidding process for contract award, monitors and controls field expenditures.
• Liaise with governments authorities for work programme preparation, monitoring, technical discussions, database licensing and management and other obligations.
• Assists with supervision of Service Companies working on G & G projects / analysis.
• Support, maintain and develop the regional geoscience database, both through direct work and supervision of subordinates.
• Monitors daily drilling activities, evaluate sample descriptions wire line logs. Recommends logging, coring and testing programs.
• Ensuring compliance with HSE policy in all exploration operations.
Requirement:
•  Bachelor of Science or preferably Master of Science in Geology or Earth Science.
•  Indonesian Nationals.
•  15 years of experience as Geologist in Oil & Gas industry.
•  Good understanding on geological concept and applications. Understanding on Play, the use of regional data, regional tectonic and able to undertake play fairway analysis.
•  Understanding of seismic interpretation and mapping. Strong understanding on Structural Geology, good understanding on fundamental geophysics and coordinate reference systems.
•  Good understanding on drilling operation, logging and laboratory works.
•  Understanding on well log and core analyses and able to perform fit-to-purpose log interpretation
•  Good understanding on geochemistry and petroleum systems.
•  Good understanding on clastic sedimentology from petrographic scale to depositional system and able to develop predictive sedimentological models and GDE maps.
•  Good understanding on basin evaluation / petroleum systems and reservoir geology, incl. effect of burial, cementation, diagenesis and mineralogy.
•  Analytical skills to integrate and interpret a broad variety sets, including well logs, biostratigraphy, petrography, potential field, regional tectonic, etc.
•  Good skill on resources and geological risk assessment including concept on deterministic and probabilistic volumetric. Ability to apply suitable methodology and parameter uncertainty.
•  Good interdisciplinary training.
•  Strongly computer literate with workstation skills.
