PT. Borneo Prima is a Coal Mining Company currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the following 5 vacant positions to be based at our site Project in Central Kalimantan:
(1) SUPERINTENDENT MECHANICAL & PROJECT (Code: SPT-MP)
Work Location: Site Bua, PT Borneo Prima, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia
Requirements:
• Young energetic Mechanical Engineering Graduate (full time bachelor’s degree) from reputed Institutions and having consistently good academic record. Must have good technical, planning, leadership, and communication skills
• Preferably around 5 - 7 years of experience in construction projects (or in O&M) for coal handling plant, coal processing plants, iron ore processing plants. Construction / O&M experience in Coal Preparation Plants shall be preferred.
• Should have clear understanding of engineering and construction drawings. Should be able to resolve issues related to drawing, construction quality, workmanship, and man management.
• Monitoring project progress, quality inspection and reporting to team management with the site progress and escalate the issues which needs to be taken care from higher level.
• Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
• Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
• Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
• Ensuring quality and quantity of materials / equipment / parts supplied at site are in order as per the respective packing list / invoices/ drawings.
• Co-ordination with other team members, management, contractor’s personnel, and the overall project manager
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
• Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Be able to communicate in English both verbal and in writing.
• Candidate should have clear knowledge on following technicality:
o Co-ordinate systems, Contour and topographic drawings
o GA and other construction drawings
o Common plant infrastructures e.g., Plant Road, Ramp, Retaining Wall, Excavation, Foundation, Flooring, Stockpiles, Sleeve Casting, Slime ponds, Fresh water pond and pump houses, drainage system, Fire Protection, Dust suppression
o General Mechanical equipment – Pumps, Motors, Gear Boxes, Belt Conveyors, pipes & valves, feeders, belt scales, weigh bridges, bunkers and pneumatic / motorized gates, Pulleys, Idlers, chutes etc.
o Experienced in working with specialized processing plant equipment – Cyclones, Centrifuges, Vibrating Screens, Flotation Cells, Filter Press, Thickeners etc.
o Steel structural fabrication.
o Fault identification and repairing knowledge
• Soft Skills – MS office High level of command, Auto cad Moderate level.
• Willing to work in remote area in Central Kalimantan under roster basis of 6 weeks work ON site and 2 weeks OFF site,
Person experienced working in Mining Companies and experienced with Coal Handling Plants / Coal Processing Plants will be preferred.
(2) SUPERINTENDENT CIVIL & PROJECT (Code: SPT-CP)
Work Location (preferred): Site Bua, PT Borneo Prima, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia
Requirements:
• BE/B Tech in Civil Engineering disciplines (full time) from reputed Institutions and having consistently good academic record
• Must have good technical, planning, leadership, and communication skills
• Preferably around 5 - 7 years of site experience in handling construction projects like Camp, Power Plant, Workshop, Coal Washeries and similar type of industrial projects. Experience in working for Mining Projects shall be an added advantage.
• Vast technical knowledge which ensues review of construction drawings released to site before starting the work. The experience is expected to resolve any issue related with drawing, construction Quality, Workmanship, and man management. Team Handling Experience.
• Good knowledge in Geotechnical and structural design and familiar with SAP 2000 / StaadPro more preferable.
• Person should have good communication skill to deal with various govt and non govt authorities nearby site. Should be able to liaise with local government bodies, as and when required.

• Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials
• Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries
• Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment
• The ability to interpret blueprints
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Be able to communicate in English both verbal and in writing.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Candidate shall have a great experience for dealing with following technicality:
o Co-ordinate systems, i.e. UTM, Decimal Degree, Degree minute seconds and other systems.
o Benchmark, TBM, PBM, RL and EL
o Contour and topographic drawings
o GA and reinforcement drawing
o BOQ calculation and Bar bending schedule preparation from relevant drawings.
o Grade of concrete, design mix, and nominal mix
o FGL, FFL and EL levels
o Soil type, i.e. Black cotton soil, granular soil and soil comprise with hard rock.
o Foundation types i.e open and pile foundations.
o Plant Road, Haul Road, Ramp, Retaining Wall, Excavation, Foundation, Flooring, Stockpiles, Sleeve Casting, Pump House, Small Bridges / Culverts, drainage system, Fire Walls and
o Steel structural fabrication.
• Soft Skills – MS office High level of command, Auto cad Moderate level. MS Projects, Google earth, outlook etc.
• Willing to work in remote area in Central Kalimantan under roster basis 6 weeks work ON site and 2 weeks OFF site,
Person experienced in Mining Infra projects e.g.: Haul Road Construction and Maintenance, Structural and Concrete Bridges, Port and Jetty applications will be preferred. Knowledge / experience in working SAP2000 or STAADPRO analysis will be an added advantage.
(3) HEAD OF SURVEYOR (Code: H- Survey)
Work Location: Site Bua, PT Borneo Prima, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia
This position will be responsible for:
• Conducting survey activities related to weekly and monthly mining volume calculations including calculating coal volume realization
• Conducting survey activities related to the suitability of the mine design
• Conducting survey activities related to exploration activities and drilling activities
• Conducting survey activities related to the suitability of boundaries and mining permits in accordance with government regulations.
• Rectifying spatial and non-spatial data in accordance with the applicable standard procedures (correct coordinate system and conversion)
• Conducting survey activities related to infrastructure and road maintenance
• Creating and rectify the survey data bank system so that it can be used by all users and departments in need
• Making work plans and crew development in accordance with current and future projects
• Conducting an inventory and maintenance of all survey equipment in accordance with the provisions and needs
• Planning, calculating, reporting, and presenting to the Manager and BOD about all current and future survey projects
Requirements:
• Min 10 years work experience
• Mastering tools: GPS, Geodetic, Drone, TS
• Mastering Terra model
• Can communicate in English
• Willing to work in a very remote area
• Max age. 45 years.
(4) SUPERVISOR CIVIL & PROJECT (Code: SPV-CP)
Work Location: Site Bua, PT Borneo Prima, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Registration/Licensure as a professional engineer is a plus.
• At least five years of civil construction industry strongly desired
• Able to do site inspection for safety and on-site hazard assessment.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project.
• Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time.
• Knowledge of map creation software and photo imaging software e.g. ArcMAP GIS/QGIS is a plus
• Software skills including with design software, such as MS Office-Project, AutoCAD Civil 3D, SAP is highly advantageous
• Male or Female Age max 38 years old.
(5) SENIOR SUPERVISOR RECRUITMENT (Code: Sr. SPV-REC)
